Buy Every Which Way Crochet Borders: 139 Patterns for Customized Edgings Illustrated by Eckman, Edie (ISBN: 9781612127408) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Well worth buying this fabulous book - This book is Every Which Way as good as Edie Eckman's other books. Very clearly written, lots of pictures and some lovely patterns for borders. There are written instructions (US terminology) as well as charts, and the Border Directory at the back of the book shows a picture of the border, the border number and the page number, so it is very easy to find a favourite border. I like the spiral format. In addition to the patterns, there is a lot of helpful information about reading crochet patterns and charts, crochet symbols, stitch placement, etc. If you know the basics, you can follow these patterns. There are stitch notes to help with the more complex stitches. A fabulous book all round. Review: Excellent, easy to follow - Excellent and easy to follow book. There are some basic borders at the beginning and a lot more complicated ones after. Easy instructions to follow. With the basics at the beginning to you can mix them together also which I have done on a few things. You dont have to use these borders for items on corners , just miss the corner info out and use according to what you are doing. I done 9 rows of Element H and 1 row of Element L to make a jumper longer for a friend of mine who had a jumper knitted for her and it was too short. This was something new for me, and loved doing it. Have fun.

Buy it now!!! You will not be disappointed.
What a fantastic book. My new bible!!! I make thousands of projects and am always looking for new and interesting ways to finish them. This book is full of great ideas, easy to follow instructions, colourful pictures and suggestions. I totally recommend it. Get creative and build on the borders in the book to make your own. Layer them or use several all together. They work beautifully and it is my go to reference for every border.

The photos and diagrams are large and easy to follow and it gives lots of tips on ...
This is really one of those, "must have" books which you can keep on the shelf to refer to for every project. It's format, hard-backed but spiral bound, is ideal to have out on the table at the right page for reference. The photos and diagrams are large and easy to follow and it gives lots of tips on how to change colourways and mix and match patterns. I've learnt loads already. Can thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful suggestions to borders framing your work
Beautiful suggestions to borders framing your work. The borders range from beginner to advanced level. Some are almost like lace. Easy to read and easy to understand charts showing what is going on and supporting the written instructions. So inspiring. I'm definitely going to look for Edie Eckman books for other projects. Absolutely a must if you like new ways to finish your knitting or crocheting products and I give it my warmest recommendations.

Really lovely book
I bought this as I always struggled for inspiration to add a border to my project. I love this book, there are lots of different designs and each one includes a written pattern and a diagram also so would suit most people. Also includes directions on how to calculate stitch counts for each pattern first so you can make sure it'll fit on your blanket ok by increasing or decreasing stitches on the edge first. Very happy with my purchase!

As i also have the earlier book of edgings by author... this one is another great tool in my library.... the first thing that is so useful , is having corners incorporated into pattern... often edgings are given as straight strips... with no how to for doing corners su.... There is a wide range of styles to choose from and very well illustrated, with great advice on how to choose one, depending on the size, shape and purpose of item being worked on..... overall a couple of superb instruction books.... Highly recommended .
