I have been using this flashlight frequently at work for the past year and a half, and this thing has held up to every abuse my job demands, and it's still kicking! Being made of stainless steel, your keys can't scratch it. But my titaniun key clips can and have, as you can see by its battle marks. It's an excellent product. I'm not giving it 5 stars because it gets very hot; it should have insulation between the LED and the chassis or structure to prevent the entire sheet, in my case stainless steel, from getting so hot. But I love it.

Great light!! Button works well. Doesn't come on in my pocket. Very bright and very small. After a week I haven't recharged it yet. I think this is the best EDC flashlight out there.

Living on a boat and carrying a very small purse, I was looking for a small but strong flashlight for those times we are coming back in the dark and we need to be able to see the road as we are walking or if we are anchored out, to see around us. MAN, did this flashlight fit the bill! As I tried the flashlight the first time, I did what I’m famous for - looking at the light as I turn it on. I just about blinded myself! This thing is BRIGHT on the highest setting! But fortunately, there are lower settings as well and it is easy to set it up so it is on a lower setting when you turn it on and if you need to bump it up or down, you can do that as well. This is going to be my new guy gift for sure because everyone can use a good small flashlight and I have never had one as good and as bright as this. It can be easily recharged via USB-C and it also includes a clip that you can turn either direction so it could be clipped to a baseball cap brim to use as a headlamp or else clip it in your pocket to keep it secure. All in all, it is the best mini flashlight ever. Update 9/2025 - I’ve had this flashlight for a while now and it is still incredible. I’ve not charged it in over a year and it is still crazy bright! I recently used it in our dinghy heading up a river to get back to the boat and I was able to see buoys hundreds of yards ahead to be able to get home safely. I bought one of these for my mechanic son and he said he uses it constantly and it is brighter than the best flashlight he could find! Easily the best flashlight we’ve ever had.

Overall very happy with this flashlight. The output on its highest setting is very bright for its size, more than most would ever really need. On the lowest moonlight setting it is also very useful and long lasting. Charging is straight-forward and easy. The button combinations are not immediately intuitive, but once learned are not too numerous or complex. The most important combination for general use is to double-tap the power button to have it use the default brightness (which is configurable if a brightness level is left on for a few minutes before holding in the power button to power off). Tapping the power button when it is on will cycle through different brightness settings. When the flashlight is off and you press and hold the power button, it defaults to its brightest setting while holding the button down which feels like a car headlight in the palm of your hand. As for downsides, the only one I have so far is the weight compared to a previous lower powered keychain flashlight I had. I think they could have shaved off a few grams of weight making the metal enclosure a little thinner or hollowed out. Granted, the trade off here is this is very durable feeling too and I do not foresee being able to break it easily. The metal feel is solid. There are two included magnet options and both are fairly strong for their size. Being this is mainly on my keychain I do not carry the magnets with me, but can see them being very useful if this was kept in a toolkit.

RonVon micro flashlights are great. The LED lasts forever. They’re rechargeable using USB and they’re amazingly bright, despite their small size. I always keep this flashlight in my pocket, along with a small pocket knife. My two basic utility items I always carry with me. Don’t leave home without one. They always come in handy. Much better than trying to use your phone flash.
