Zatarain Jambalaya Mix 227g

Just back from New Orleans where we enjoyed Jambalaya at the Acme and Felix oyster bars. Superb it was. Just wonderful. We found Zatarain's Jambalaya Mix at a local grocer in Houston and bought some back to the UK. We used chicken and chorizo sausage instead of seafood and added extra flavour with white wine (instead of water) and a few dashes of Tobasco (what else!). Easy to make and very nearly as good as the real thing. But, can't find any more Zatarain's Jambalaya Mix in the UK. Come on Amazon, get it in! I'll happily buy the first ten packets. Hmmm, make that twenty packets.

For the lazy, or modern cook, it is fast, very tasty, and can be varied to suit all tastes. I have since bought more and will continue to do so. I first came across this product in 2002 in Texas, and have used it whenever I have been able to purchase. Just bought more, a little expensive, but when made with prawns or chicken or whatever you fancy, tastes really good. An American product with a taste of the Caribbean.

Made it with chicken, chorizo, smoked sausage, onion, red pepper and spring onion. Hands down everyone loved it and nothing left to throw away. Will be making it again. Very tasty and easy to make

Bought this a while ago and it has been sitting in the pantry unused, fortunately it had a long expiry date! As it turns out we had no idea what we were missing, absolutely fabulous product. We have just bought a load of king scallops straight off the fishing boat and matched with a nice chorizo it made the most fantastic scallop and chorizo jambalaya. We only had the one pack, now looking to try and buy in bulk if we can find a good price!?

I first came across this when I was visiting the USA. It is a quick and cheerful mix for making a pretty decent jambalaya. I was happy to find it here on Amazon. I add pork sausage, chorizo, and shrimp to mine and cook it in a pressure cooker - perfect. 1 less star for it being overpriced and especially for this small size.

Arrived in good time, tasted great, incredibly easy to make (just cook your meat, add the rice and some water, then leave it for 20 mins). Made 2 very large servings

My American teenagers attempt to scarf down every last bit but luckily we were able to snag some small bowls. I’ll be making this a frequent purchase for our Zatarains fans.

Very authentic flavours and so easy to use

Zatarain's is my fall-back when I don't feel like making a fancy homecooked meal, but want something substantial for my family. Wonderful to be able to get it on Amazon, when my local stores are hit and miss to find it

Excellent choice for a New Orleans meal night . Fast and easy one pot meal. Has the long grain rice with traditional seasonings of New Orleans Jambalaya. Just add your choice of meat. If you're vegetarian add fresh vegetables to it. Especially great is no MSG Added ‼️I add mango sausage and shrimp.You can add anything you want to it.I have used this brand before and in my experience it's delicious. So, I highly recommend!!

I originally purchased this type if item and it was 3 boxes of jambalaya mix. This was a purchase again. This time it only has one box of jambalaya for price of 3 boxes. DON'T BUY. TOO EXPENSIVE. AND SINCE IT'S A FOOD PRODUCT YOU CAN'T RETURN A 12 RICE BOX. STUPID.
