KOH-I-NOOR Magic Coloured Leads for 5.6mm Diameter 120mm Mechanical Pencil

These multi-coloured pencil leads work perfecly in my clutch pencil. Each lead in the packet is the same mix of colours, but what combination of colours you get changes the more you use the lead - ideal for adding an extra dimension to drawing and sketching, also great for laying down a quick colourful background for other art to go on top.

Nice big pencil to hold!

These leads seem great and work well as crayons, but they didn't fit my Kaweco SketchUp 5.6 pencil. I knew they were too long, and would have to reduce the length, but expected them to fit by width. Sadly I can't fit them into the barrel, whereas other leads of the same reported diameter do fit. I can use these okay as crayons, so all is not lost, but that wasn't my intention on purchasing.

Really like these leads, used with the correct sized clutch pencil they give some really lovely effects. You can use them on the centre and get a more controlled colour, or on the side edge which achieved a double line. I'm sure with some experimenting these will be used time and again.

I've been using these for life drawing and I love the effect of the multicolour lead. Turning the point gives a really interesting line and shading and makes a quick sketch (like the one in the photo attached) look like it's taken a lot more work and time than it actually did. They seem to work well on different kinds of paper too - I've used them on rough and smooth.

I love these with my clutch pencil ., so good for sketches just adds something different to the look of the sketch . Deepening colours or shading isn’t the best but just for drawing they are so fun

This is a fun pencil.

The pen is very nice and delivery was quick, but there were no magic led included as it was stated it should be.

veramente belle, se usate per schizzi, ritratti e urban sketching offrono risultati davvero insoliti e piacevolmente inaspettati. il tratto non è facile da cancellare per cui consiglio di impostare un leggero schizzo a matita e usare queste mine solo con mano sicura delle linee da disegnare. non si sfumano bene con lo sfumino, ed essendo multi colore lo sfumato risulta verde / grigio (come quando si mescolano più colori assieme) per cui consiglio il cross hatching per creare ombre in cui tutti i colori siano visibili
