Kikkerland 1601BL Derby Edition Solar Queen with Blue Hat, one size

Bought as replacement for one I broke accidentally as it was on a window sill and I knocked it. Very realistic!

This is my second one of these lovely souvenirs. I bought the first one in a shop in Edinburgh on the Canongate just up from Holyrood and I understand the late Queen was a great fan of these so she very likely bought some from the same shop while on her Scottish holidays. Unfortunately, over the years, the colour faded and there were various mishaps so it was great to find a brand new one which is now sitting on my window ledge waving at everyone bringing back memories of Elizabeth the Great, Queen of Scots..

These waving models of the Queen are great fun, my daughter bought one for me and we loved it so much we bought one for our mother. The figures stand around 6 inches in height and come in different colours and styles, we also have a pink waving Queen. There is a small solar panel that makes the hand move when there is enough light so needs to be placed close to a window.

placed on the window sill , she s quiet amuseing waveing to me as I work gave her 4 stars because I would have liked her a few inches taller but if you like quiky things irecommend her.

We broke our previous solar waving queen, and wanted another one, this one is perfect, good price, well packaged speedy postage .

My 93 year old mum loved this little figurine so much. It was a present to her for the Queen's Birthday celebrations last weekend. As soon as i took it out of its packaging , the little hand started waving! Nicely made thing. Excellent and amusing . Thank you

Poor quality finish. The waving action stopped working after 2 months and this seems to be because the silicon/glue used to join the two halves of the body together and hold in the power pack has failed and basically the Queen is falling apart. I have just glued it all back together but am not hopeful of success. Queen is currently held together with glue and rubber bands and hopefully she’ll set overnight and be back waving at the world again.
