We found ourselves fostering a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who had issues! Rebus was suffering, amongst other things, with separation anxiety and whenever he was left for more than a couple of minutes, rivers of wee appeared! It was getting to the point whereby I didn't think I would ever be able to leave the house. Did a search on the internet and came across Simple Solution Male Dog Washable Wraps (belly band). Read a few reviews and saw that someone had posted about using them for separation anxiety. Place the order and a few days later the belly band arrived. I had read a review of someone buying Tena Ladies Night Time pads instead of the Simple Solution alternative as the Tena were cheaper and a far superior product. The first time we used the belly band it was success - Rebus wasn't best pleased to be left wearing a skirt! I came back to no wee rivers and a happy Rebus who was delighted to see me and have his "skirt" removed! We faithfully used the belly band every time we left the house and soon it became apparent that Rebus associated the belly band with us going out and was happy to be left with his skirt in place. Then after about 3 weeks of leaving him with his belly band in place we came home to him having wriggled out of it but no rivers of wee. By changing a few things, Rebus is now able to be left for about 3 hours without any anxiety and doesn't wear the belly band anymore. I put down a huge amount of the success of turning Rebus around to the belly band - it took the stress out of leaving him, dreading coming home and cleaning up bucketfuls of wee! Don't be in any doubt that this product doesn't work, because it does but take my advice get the Tena Ladies Night Time pads to fit inside the belly band - they are lovely and padded, feel soft and if your dog did have a wee it would hold it in place until you got home!

I bought this wrap for my old 17yrs old dog. i am delighted with it, it does what it say's on the tin. He is quite a large dog and old age has caught up with him. He wear's it on the night and he is dry as a board on the morning. I put a asda 5yrs old nappy in the wrap and make sure his manhood is covered, and he ready for bed. i have tried other products and they either fall off or are no good as he was wet the next morning. He wears it all night so it must be comfortable. I have hand washed the wrap and put it on the radiator to dry which was ready for night time. But the only thing that i must stress on is make sure his manhood is in the wrap as i didnt one night and he leeked a bit on the wrap. Other wise fantastic saved me a lot of mess and time cleaning floors and him also. Would recommend to anyone wanting to buy one for there dog who like me wakes up on the morn to a puddle

When our young male beagle started "leaking", we took him straight to the vet, who diagnosed him with USMI, and after nearly £500 of tests found nothing obvious, prescribed Propalin, which should help him get control over his bladder. This is all great, but with two weeks to wait for the Propalin to get into his system, and the leaking getting obvious, I bought two of these on her recommendation. We went for the medium size. So far, it's done a good job. It's made well. It's easy to get on and off. It's not leaked once, and even when the daft dog forgets he's wearing it and goes outside to pee before we can get the thing off him, it can hold an entire pee (And even better, it doesn't leak when we take it off). We machine wash it on a quick cycle with gentle laundry detergent, and it always comes out looking as good as new. I just wish it dried a bit faster. We have two which we keep on rotation, and they can take a couple of hours to dry if you're not drying them over a radiator. I'm only knocking one star off because the Velcro is pretty rigid stuff, and tends to arch up a bit on my boy's spine. I don't think it causes him any discomfort, but he's not the smartest dog in the neighbourhood, so another dog with a bit more of an intellect might. It would be nice if there was a way to adjust it - not every dog is a perfect cylinder! Overall, it's a good product. We didn't actually realise how much our boy was leaking until he started wearing it, and now we do. Hopefully the Propalin will kick in soon, and we'll be able to relegate these to the back of the cupboard. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Bought these after our dog very quickly became incontinent, I initially bought the disposable ones but they weren't cost effective, so bought a couple of these. They are NOT absorbant in the slightest, they are however a perfect size for off brand tena men pads bought from here which made them perfect for bed time. Bought the small/medium for my Jackie- Bichon and fitted perfectly, nice and snug without being tight. They wash really well and tumble dry (I made sure the two sides of the velcro were together before washing and drying) Dog since diagnosed with diabetes and no longer incontinent so don't need to use any longer.

We have used these wraps for about 5 months now with our elderly Springer Spaniel. They work extremely well, are easy to take off and on, and wash nicely in the wash machine. We use size 6 baby diapers safety- pinned into the wraps. Since our dog is no longer able to walk and is a large dog we supplement with human disposable underpads underneath in case we do not get him outside fast enough when he tells us. We also use a large human adjustable disposable brief which we pin on with diaper pins at night or if we have to leave him alone for a few hours. (We do not use the wrap at that time.) We buy all of these products by the case at a local warehouse to make caring for our dog affordable. Although no longer able to walk, these products have allowed him to be a happy member of the family for an extra few months at the end of his life. While we were getting this system in place we were not sure how long we would be able to manage his care. While he makes it outside most of the time these wraps and his diaper absorb most, if not all, of the urine when he has accidents. We use a rubberized grate outside for him to lay on and use the bathroom. This grate also works well for him to lay on over our double laundry sinks when we give him a butt bath from time to time now that he is no longer well enough to go to the groomers. This system keeps him clean, comfortable and dry. You can tell he enjoys the care and seems to understand the adaptations help him. A tip is to keep the wrap velcroed shut when washing so you do not get lint in the velcro. We either air dry or dry in the washing machine depending on the need. After using the initial wrap we have bought several more so we always have a clean one available. I would definitely recommend the wrap. It is much nicer than the ones I looked at in the store and was recommended to me by a friend. It is also much more reasonably price. A win win! These have been wonderful and have made huge difference in our being able to care for our elderly dog.

Questa fascia era l'unica di taglia XL reale perché nella categoria del prodotto si trovano quasi esclusivamente le fasce e mutande assorbenti cinesi di taglia XL minuscola e di minore qualità. Ho impiegato un po' di tempo e per fortuna ho trovato questa fascia. Do 5 stelle perché effettivamente è fatta di un buon materiale, è morbida e ha una chiusura a velcro molto potente. All'interno è fatta di un materiale più leggero e traspirante, rispetto a quelle di fattura cinese che sono di pile, quindi è adatta per il periodo primaverile e estivo. Al mio cane sta abbastanza comoda, non stringe, a volte se la sfila quando si sdruscia sul lettino ma comunque sono soddisfatta dell'acquisto. All'interno io appiccico l'assorbente per le donne e così è perfetto, altrimenti andrebbe lavato 2-3 volte al giorno. Peccato solo che è di un colore e basta. Avrei preferito una scelta di colori più discreti visto che il mio è maschio. Comunque consigliato.
