Works as it should. Hours of fun for the entire family, including the cats. The balls come out very fast!

Great gun if you’re looking to hit harder than the original Nerf blasters the elites etc. we did have this jam on day 2 and when we cleared the jam it looks like a piece of clear plastic but nothing is broken that we can tell looks like a piece from something else. Great little blaster!

I'm glad that I bought this. It's nice to have something that can hold so many shots in it. It shoots those hyper rounds very quickly. I also bought a 200 pack of ammo and it's great to have so many shots available in such a small space. It's very fun to load because you just dump em in. I have one other blaster that shoots about this fast and this one is easier for my child to prine I did have a situation where the gun jammed and I thought I wasn't going to be able to clear it, even with the release button. It took some experimenting but the secret was reaching my finger into the hopper and moving it manually. I think this sort of jam can happen if you pull the trigger while priming it Sometimes it doesn't grab a round from the hopper but it helps once you get used to it. I'm willing to deal with that given how much capacity it has The hyper rounds do hold onto dust more than a rival round does. I set used rounds aside and then rinse them off together. I hope they keep releasing new stuff in this line. I'm curious to see what other designs they could make that uses these rounds.

I had bought this as a disciplinary tool for my new kitten. Warning do not shoot your cat with this Nerf gun it might send him to the Valhalla of nine lives this thing shoots at about the rate of 100 ft per second which doesn't seem very fast but the little Nerf balls that come out of it are pretty decent like soft rubber and they kind of sting a little bit. So in retrospect unless you want to kill your cat I probably wouldn't shoot him with this but it is a fun gun.

It's a nerf gun, not much else to say. It's easy to reload and comes with a lot of ammo. I will say that these HURT when you get hit with them, so just be aware of that.

I enjoy my boys pelting me with nerf guns on a near constant basis. The switch up in bullets has been a nice change with this new nerf gun! These come out faster and harder then the cylinder foam bullets and as a bonus are more difficult to find under various pieces of furniture in my house. It is so entertaining for my children to watch me hunt for these tiny balls throughout the house! They love it!

My son and nephew received these for Christmas. They were thrilled. It does dry fire about every third shot which is a bit disappointing. Sometimes jams, however is easily cleared by using the jam doors. It does hold 40 rounds with is a positive.

Kids love these, just don't forget to wear the protective glasses. Sting a little in the skin, but may not be good if you get hit in the eye. Always play safely. Great bullet speed and accuracy.

Compact, but powerful...just what every Nerf collector wants. I ordered two units and both arrived in a timely manner and in excellent condition. The instructions were clear and easy to follow to get the pistol setup, the included safety glasses are a must in enclosed areas or with children. I wish it had an auto function instead of the single shot, but understand that fitting those mechanics into a small blaster type pistol at this price point is just not practical. Plus, if you want the full auto experience, the Impulse 40 does have a bigger brother...or two! Highly recommend if your are sick of the Nerf foam dart offerings and you are in the market for a new tool in your armoury.

Hard to review in that it's a great gun, but bought it for family nerf gun nights and they're too strong to be used with little ones. Had a good battle with my son in which we both came out with a few welts!
