Amazing piece of kit, just watch out for binding.
All works okay. However… After a week of having the protractor in use, it started to bind quite heavily, even releasing the tensioning screws did not allow it to turn freely. While the unit is sturdy, watch out for small imperfections on the inside edges of the inserts, they will rub together until they bind! Most people would probably have called it a day, but, being a stubborn engineer, I had to find out what was causing it! 20 minutes, lots of huffing and a very gentle rub with emery cloth, it’s perfect! Accurate angles once again! 4*, one removed for the binding, overall good quality tool, got me out of a hole and very easy to use.

You need big muscles.
Delivery was excellent as always, had to spend an hour removing tight spots and applying light oil, now is slightly stiff but is useable, so far seems to be accurate
