PURE ORIGINAL INGREDIENTS Borax Powder (11 oz.), Borax, Multipurpose Cleaning Agent, Ideal Slime

I have no clue if it works for laundry, but it makes great slime!

We own an older house. We try to keep a clean house and prevent the ant problem in the first place. But if by chance we leave any remnants of food out (even drops or splashes), we can sometimes see numerous ants around the site the next morning when we flick on the lights. After looking for products that are fairly environment friendly, I have settled on two options: 1) diatomaceous earth or 2) borax powder. Indoors I use a 3:1 ratio mix sugar to borax dissolved by a little water into a slurry. Soak a cotton ball in the slurry then put that near the found ant trail. 24-48 hours later perhaps 99% of any ants are gone (having hauled the borax mix back to their nest/queen). I use some Windex to rid of the cotton ball remains and any leftover sugar. Been a couple of weeks now since trying above. Not an ant to be found. Shall see how this holds up over the long term. I use the diatomaceous outside. Right now either of the above 2 options work great.

Bought this to make homemade ant bait. My ants really seem to prefer the store brand ant bait over my formula.

Used it for slime, no complaints. Its just straight borax.
