I am so happy I invested in this. I wanted to buy cheaper co2 cartridges but they didn’t have the pink ones. Easy to use. No carbonation leakage. I was afraid of that. But it’s solid. Taking out the plastic at the bottom of the machine looks more complicated than it is. A flathead screwdriver worked in seconds for me to push the two tabs in and pop it out. And now it doesn’t matter, I can order from whatever cartridge company I want. Never needed to return. Worth it!

Like most people on here I ordered the wrong fitting tap for the Soda Stream. This adapter works perfectly but slightly different than the original. Just make sure to first take the plastic piece out of the bottom and then the adapter needs to be screwed on snuggly to the bottle top so it will not leak its air. I goofed the first time and then tried to put the bottle in from the side like the one with the original bottle taps and made a big wet mess with lots of hissing air. However, found out quickly that it works great and fits just right if you insert the bottle with adapter already attached from directly underneath the unit and straight up into the tap instead.

I had some of the screw-on cylinders after purchasing a SodaStream DUO. I tried using this adapter. If I screwed it too tightly, the cylinder started releasing gas. If I loosened it so it stopped hissing and put it into the machine, it didn't carbonate the carafe. I fiddled it with and got it to the point where it did carbonate the bottle, but it didn't stop! I had to take the bottle as the gas was still coming out out causing a water spill. So this product is a dud.

I found out by mistake that I had purchased the wrong SodaStream refill canister. I was so upset! But this adapter works as instructed. It easily screws on to the top of the canister and fits into the Stream. You will have to remove the bottom piece on the Stream for the adapter canister to fit, but that easily comes out. So glad I found this!

I used this to be able to use my old SodaStream cylinders after purchasing the new-style main unit. I had to cut out the bottom plastic of the new unit as this attachment made the cylinder too tall for installation, but afterwards, this worked great.

This does work fine to convert the standard paintball threaded cylinders into the quick-connect. However, I found that if you screw it all the way tight, it will start to leak gas. Backing it off 1/8th to 1/4 of a turn fixed that and seals tight enough that it doesn't leak when filling.

I accidentally purchased the wrong CO2 canisters for my soda stream. Didn’t realize and couldn’t return them. Found this great adapter and it saved the day. The canisters fit perfectly with this. Which is nice because those CO2 canisters are cheaper and now I can continue to use them.

I really liked the quick change adapter, it came quick and is made well. It went right onto the rest of the pressurized line that I bought for my Soda Stream Terra. I used to have the old style and when I got a divorce I got a Terra and didn’t realize that the hook ups were different. This is the missing link you need if you are getting frustrated that your kit isn’t working. See my video, it should help clear up any issues.

Useless. Leaks like a sieve, freezes up and clogs up. Burned through a full cylinder trying to carbonate 6 bottles. Find something else.
