The DEWALT 20V MAX XR POWERSTACK 5Ah battery has completely exceeded my expectations. The power output is noticeably stronger than my older packs, and the improved runtime means I can get through demanding projects without constantly swapping batteries. What really stands out is how compact and lightweight it is for the performance it delivers. The tools feel more balanced in hand, and the battery stays cool even during heavy use. Charging time is quick, and the overall build quality is exactly what you’d expect from DEWALT solid, durable, and built for real jobsite conditions. If you rely on your tools every day or just want more power and efficiency for home projects, this battery is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

Works great however I found out why they keep failing, when using this battery it has a indicator of charge if it's fully charged it has three illuminated dots. If you want this battery to last and not have to buy another one, when two of the dots have been dimmed from the amount of use stop there and recharge your battery after it cools down. Using this battery until it stops on its own shortens the life dramatically. I use this on my weedeater and of course only using two of the three dots the runtime is shorter however charging at that point Will make the battery last a long long time.

These are awesome, the bottom grip base, balanced, smaller, lighter, and it does kick out more power. This even seems to last longer somehow. This was a good Black Friday buy.

Was hesitant on this one for the price, since same one is $179 + WA 8.5% tax. Received today in sealed Dewalt box. All markings on battery are authentic Dewalt. Easy to spot counterfeits as they lack top bar code and 2nd serial number. Mfg date on battery received same as order date 07/2025. Never opened and matched photo with authentic new model white led's which stay on for a second when activated. Also only charged to 1 bar which would be correct for a new unused battery. Unfortunately I have plenty of 5ah batteries but this one is for a specific Dewalt tool, or I would buy another one at this price.

I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: Arrived as described. I've had a regular DEWALT cordless 20v XR Drill for many years and have used it for all my projects around my home. It came with two 2ah batteries which I always thought were great. Every once in a while I feel like if I had an IMPACT DRIVER that I could do some jobs easier and faster. So I decided to invest in DEWALT Impact Driver because it uses and came with the exact 2ah Battery my drill uses. But then SURPRISE, I needed a full-blown IMPACT WRENCH and ended up getting a set that included a 3/8" Impact wrench and a 1/2" Impact wrench. That set came with one 5ah battery and boy does it have power. After all those years using a 2ah and thinking it can't get any better, but I was wrong. So I decided that I needed another 5ah battery so BOTH impact wrenches had one attached at same time. The best thing is once you get a 20v MAX battery and charger, the charger works on all the 20v MAX batteries. They are interchangeable for all 20v tools and chargers. YES I am a DEWALT person, having had a few of their tools and been totally satisfied with them and how they perform, but more importantly....they are still preforming without a single concern. Its not charging

Muy buena batería, la utilizo con mi atornillador de impacto y mi atornillador/rotomartillo. Aclaro que no soy contratista, sin embargo, para los trabajos o reparaciones en casa la batería me dura mas de 1 semana. Cuando salgo a hacer algún arreglo a algún familiar se que solo debo llevar esta batería. El único defecto quizá es que es más pesada que una pila normal, pero es un precio a pagar por tener mas del doble de carga.

Es lo que se describe. Falta ver como se desempeña en el trabajo.

Works amazing. Charge lasts all day and charges fast

This battery is quite expensive for most, yet it delivers in performance and hopefully will last a couple of years more than a standard DeWalt battery. There was an issue with the delivery and seller was very helpful to make sure I receive the parcel.
