This is not a High End green tea, - but for the price, it's easily a VALUE Item. It says this Tea is from Hunan Province, Mainland China, - and to me is a true Green Tea, - with No Bitterness, - does NOT taste like "Cut Grass", - and is Good Enough to be my new GO TO Daily Green Tea choice. I use 1 bag in 8 fluid ounces of +160F water, - and let it steep for 3 minutes, - yielding Good Tasting Green Tea, - with No Bitterness. This is an excellent Value item, - and I'll be ordering more again soon. FYI, Japanese Teas have become an "Endangered Species", - because Japan, as a Nation, has changed from drinking Green Tea, to COFFEE. And there is not enough Overseas Business to support operations. Result is Japanese Tea Farmers are going Broke, - unable to sell their High End Teas, - so many are just Removing their Tea Plants, - and Selling the Land to Real Estate Developers. The last major Corporate Japanese Green Tea Buyer is ITO EN, - but they only purchase the Very Cheapest Late Harvest Leafs. Nobody is buying the High End Tea Leafs of Early Spring Harvest, - making it impossible to continue operation. Leaving only Cheap Low End Green Teas in Plastic Botles from Vending Machines left. This HUNAN Green Tea is good enough to be my New Green Tea daily drink of choice. I wish they had strings to hang over mugs, but that is the only downside. The quality is excellent for the price and it’s a nice, reliable option to keep stocked in the pantry.
