Master lock boxes are easy to use, install change the codes on and can hold multiple sets of keys. Very sturdy and hard to remove if you do not have the combo for the box. They fit on most door knobs or water spigets. Definitely very secure and functional!!

This is a very sturdy lock. Very nice appearance, even though you'll want to secure it to a pipe or something low to the ground. It works great and looks even better.

My rental property doesn’t have a smart door lock yet so I needed a lockbox for the keys. It didn’t fit on my front outside door handle but did fit on a different one inside the garage. It fit 2 keys with keychains just fine. It was easy to use/ program and seems very strong.

This arrived and was exactly what I needed and I recommend for a lot of folks. Hiding a key somewhere is not a great idea any longer. A way for someone to be able to get into your home in case of emergency or what have you. I live alone with my dog. I have 5 adult children that live less than 40 minutes from me. A lot of my neighbors are snowbirds or travel a lot. So not around often. My kids don’t carry keys to my house either. One day I was talking to one of my daughters on the phone as I was getting ready to go to a special work training on the other side of town. It was as early and only about 100 degrees outside. I was all ready to go, everything in my hands my water bottle, a snack, my bag, so as I held the phone between my ear and shoulder I took one hand and twisted the lock “tossed Hazel her treat yelling good bye” and shut the door. As the door shut. Oh NO!!!! Yep just locked mys of out of my house and my car. My daughter ended up calling a friend that’s a locksmith. He said he could probably break in and just charge her $20 for the call. My house is Fort Knox, I have one of the two unpickable locks, ant get in the windows because I have them all so they will only go up 2 inches. The only way is to break a window. He drilled through the lock and put the kind back in and was stunned that I had one like it. At that point my daughter said “Mom lock box today” for your sake and ours what if we couldn’t get a hold of you and then we couldn’t get in to the house. People need to think about these things, it has now come in handy for me to when one of my kids wants to borrow something from me and I’m not home. They just ask and I say sure and they go get it. So it works for a lot of things, but it’s really a pretty good idea but a lockbox not a hide a key key and the lockbox is pretty simple to use. You can input your own code in there so whatever you want it to be and you can also change it whenever you want to so give it to whomever you want and if you don’t want them to have it anymore, you change it just so simple. There’s also plenty of room inside of it to have a few keys if need be. I believe it’s also fireproof not that you need them to unlock your house but if you have a fireproof safe, I guess that would be a good place to have the key.

The lock box works well and holds up to 5 keys. It is simple mechanical and should last a lifetime.

My choice came down to this lock or the GE "push button" locks. I actually have a GE push button lock, but it is not the mobile padlock version...it is the permanent version that is mounted to a wall. Here are the considerations that went through my mind in deciding to purchase this lock: 1) The GE lock's push buttons can be done in any order. Therefore, as others have stated in reviews about that product line, it is easier to crack, as opposed to requiring a set order. The Master Lock requires a set order, so I like that better. 2) The keys in the GE locks are attached directly to the plate that comes off (fully off) the front of the lock assembly. With the Master Lock, the keys are stored separately in the lock and the front simply comes down but stays attached to the locking unit. I like this MUCH better. I have experience with my GE lock where it is cumbersome to use the key attached to the lock plate. 3) I wanted a mobile version of the lock that could be mounted with a shackle instead of mounting the locking assembly permanently to a wall. The shackle allows you to place it, and relocate the lock, to many areas easily, including a door knob. The GE version holds 3 keys at the most. The Master Lock is advertised to hold 5, but it seems like it might hold a bit more if the keys are small enough. I needed to hold more keys than 3. 4) The Master Lock has a cover that goes up to cover the combination dialers. While it is a small point, I like that the numbers are concealed and do not draw as much attention as if they were not covered. Another benefit of the cover that didn't apply to me because I mounted the lock inside as opposed to outside, is that it adds more protection agains the elements. I installed the lock today over a doorknob...it fits perfectly and securely. The lock feels VERY durable. Another plus that I didn't notice until I received the lock is that the black you see on the sides and back of the lock, as well as the shackle, is a rubber material that protects against anything it touches...very nice! I tested the lock out several times before putting the keys in it, since I saw that a couple of other reviewers had mentioned issues...all is working well so far. Setting the combination and undoing the shackle is very easily from inside the lock. One thing I want to pass on is that the door to the lock won't close if the shackle is not also closed. I was trying to shut the door of the lock while I was putting the shackle over my doorknob when I discovered this. So far, I am very, very pleased with this lock and I would definitely buy another one of these if the need arose.
