Easy to trim, sticks very well but MUST use caulk to make it water-tight
This was very easy to trim to size. I thought it might be difficult to cut due to its size but an x-acto knife cut through it like butter. The double-sided tape on the bottom worked very well - once the silicone was in place, it was STUCK in place and could not be moved. However, after one shower (used on a zero-entry shower), water was still leaking out of the shower, so I took the manufacturer's suggestion and put a bead of caulking along the inside edge (edge facing the shower) and that completely resolved the issue. The barrier completely contains the water and there is no leaking with the caulking. I'd estimate that this barrier will contain up to a half-inch of water from getting past it. The material it's made of wipes clean with an alcohol wipe.

Have some Caulk for Install
I used this water dam in my mother’s handicapped accessible bathroom, to install you’ll need some bathroom silicone in your choice of color. It took me a full day to install it flush against the wall and then make sure the silicone was under each bit and around it. I deliberately got it in a shorter length because there’s two drains in the bathroom and I just wanted the water to stop going near the door but for the end that was open I put some of the (100%) silicone in cornstarch and made a moldable putty to plug it up. (with gloves on ofc) It worked perfectly and my mother is getting plenty of use out of her shower without flooding her bedroom!

Kept curbless shower in check
I ordered this just in case my new curbless shower didn’t work as well as it should. This threshold does a good job of making sure that the water stays where I want it to. My only complaint would be the adhesive should be better. The caulking does help with that though.

Doesn't stick.
Seems like a sturdy enough of a product. But if the adhesive is weak then it's pretty innefctive and worthless. My floor was clean and dry but the adhesive was weaker than scotch tape. Save your money.

Good product
As long as you have a clean smooth surface it will stick like you screwed it down

The adhesive isn't strong at all. Bending the top makes the bottom open.
The adhesive isn't strong at all. Bending the top makes the bottom open. Only works if you do not touch the thing at all. If you step on it, expect the whole thing to fall.

This silicone strip works perfect for managing water splashing in the RV. I had a1.5 inch gap btwn the vanity and the shower pan that was just a black hole for losing stuff into, so I adhered this 2 inch silicone strip horizontally to the side of the vanity so the lower edge rested on the lip of the shower pan so any drips, or other items, hitting this gap will now be directed into the shower pan. I also used it on front edge of shower pan to retain water in shower pan in my previous RV. Many RV showers have a flat section at the bottom of the shower wall that allows water to flow toward the front edge and then down onto the bathroom floor. Placing a strip of this silicone from wall to wall along that front edge keeps the water in the shower pan even if the RV level allows water to flow away from the shower back wall. Keeps the bathroom floor dry. I've used this stuff in 2 RVs now and have been very happy with it. Be sure to use a silicone sealant bead along the edges to prevent water intrusion under the lip of this stuff where it can get grungy and potentially create a mould area. With alot of patience and a very sharp utility knife you can also cut 45° angles in this stuff to meet 2 pieces at a 90° corner. Recommend item and seller based on my experience.

Use a better quality adhesive and the product works as advertised. I used it for the opening of a curbless walk-in shower, it works a charm!
