These brushes are absolutely perfect. Pricey but so so worth it. I had put off buying these as i thought they would be softer than they are, and I prefer brushes with a spring . But while being soft, they have a nice spring. Id say they are the perfect balance. And they hold plenty of water. And the line variation is like no other quality brush ive tried. Its hard to describe and definitely not something that can be properly demonstrated by watching various video reviews online, as i can now confirm! So i thought id try the set of 4,8,12 and now I'm buying smaller ones because im actually hooked. Brilliant brush.

These brushes are excellent quality well worth the cost, the points on the tips stay firm and hold their shape very well. The handles are very comfortable and light, a joy to paint with. I shall definitely buy more of these brushes in the range. Pros excellent brushes hold plenty of water and pigment also keep their shape. Cons a bit expensive but quality outweighs the price. No protective case, at this price why not manufacture one? brushes need to be stored safely.

These are a real joy to paint with! Hold a lot of water and paint. Lovely point to them. As iv seen other artiest use these i wanted to give them a try. Just wonderful.

These are really beautiful brushes of the best quality. If fact, I would say far better than my Winsor & Newton sable brushes. There is one thing that you will need to get used to though and that is the length of the tip bristles. They are very long, thin, soft and free moving and are quite hard to control. As a result of this, the tip of the brush arrives at the paper surface a little before you expect it to, unlike a normal brush tip. After a bit of practice it becomes easier, but it was certainly a different experience. I'm gradually building up my set.

These are the best brushes I've ever used. They hold loads of water and paint which means better flat washes and much more water control. The line variance you get is incredible as the tip is so fine.

I’m very new to watercolour painting and these brushes were recommended again and again on Facebook and YouTube. I was a bit reluctant due to the price and long-ish delivery time. I eventually did order them, and what a revelation! They hold incredible amounts of water and paint, and have a very sturdy point. Highly recommended.

So the smallest brush has this 1 hair that just pings out, it's so annoying but other than that it's a pretty good set and in so happy I got it. Holds a lot of water and watercolour.

Beautiful brushes, a bit pricey but so worth it, and my Meeden ceramic pallet is just what I was looking for for.

Ich kann mir nichts vorwerfen. Ich habe alle Pinsel der namhaften europäischen Hersteller in unterschiedlichster Form probiert und dabei ein kleines Vermögen ausgegeben – Fazit dieses kostspieligen Feldversuches: Keiner (!) der Pinsel hat mich zufrieden stellen können. Da ich nichts mehr zu verlieren hatte, habe ich den Sprung über den großen Teich gewagt und mir diese Pinsel gekauft. Mannometer! Ich hätte mir eine Menge Geld sparen können, wenn ich gleich die Silver-Brush-Black-Velvet-Pinsel gekauft hätte. Der Pinsel ist einfach perfekt. Nicht zu lang, nicht zu kurz, ein wunderbar weicher Farbauftrag, überragend wie der Pinsel die Farbe/das Wasser hält. Die Pinsel halten durch die absolut gelungene Mischung aus Naturhaaren und Synthetik ihre perfekte Form, und es macht einen riesigen Spaß mit den Pinseln zu arbeiten. Für mich gibt’s nix anderes mehr.

De meest fantastische aquarel penselen. Jammer dat ik niet wist dat ze ook in een reisversie te koop zijn, anders had ik die gekocht, ideaal voor op lokatie schilderen. Ze houden goed water en hebben een fantastische punt. Die ook blijft na een tijdje gebruik en ik gebruik ze dagelijks. Zéér aan te raden.

My package of three brushes sizes 4, 8 and 12 arrived before expected. The brushes are a blend of squirrel and synthetic. The sizes are smaller than expected other wise I’m enjoying painting with them. They hold the paint and water well. The points are very fine for detail. All in all a good buy. I will probably order more Silver Black Velvet brushes in the future.
