My husband has had hours of fun with this as I purchased it as a Christmas present for him Its compatable with a variety of phones and much better quality than one we bought a few years ago, I was doubtful this would be any good but was so glad I decided to give this one a go. It's very good value for money so pleased I bought this. It fitted very comfortably on my the head and nice and comfy to wear for lengthy periods which is lucky as my husband is likely to use this for several hours at a time. It was delivered really quickly even during the busy Christmas period and it was nicely packaged so will look great as a Christmas gift. The headset itself is of nice quality with a glossy finish and the blue gives it an extra touch making it look a much better quality item than a plain black one. Extra pads were also provided for getting the perfect fit which would come in handy if giving to a young teenager maybe. This has been tried this on android phone as well as an Apple and it was really easy to set up with both platforms. I was expecting it to be quite a complicated procedure to set up but it comes with very good instructions and was really easy to get going, it only took a matter of a few minutes to get it all up and running which was very impressive.

This is a great starter virtual reality headset especially for the price. It's basically a pair of goggle that you slide your phone into it and anything that you can see on your phone through the goggles, so there's no need to by an expensive VR gaming system. It's very sturdy and securely made there is a comfortable mesh padding that goes around the perimeter so you can wear it for a long period of time and it will not hurt your face. The headset is very snug and secure since there are 3 adjustable straps that cradles your head. On the front there is a little door that opens up so that you can see without taking your headset off. The phone cradle slides out from the side, there is an adjustable section that allows different phone sizes and a centre marker so that the phone can easily be lined up. On the top of the headset there as controls that independently moves the lens left and right depending on the location of your eyes as well as forwards and back for focusing. Once set these controls do not need to be touched again. The viewing direction is controlled by the phone and it feels like you are in the game or video. The only feature that is missing is external control, eg for gaming or selecting options as this needs to be done with the phone removed from the headset.

I have to admit I bought this product out of curiosity? I am a big VR fan and wondered how good something that's as cheap as chips would fair. The unit itself is well put together and well thought out. Sturdy construction good adjustment on the lenses, straps are adequate, although the unit is a bit front heavy once you phone is inserted and the tray that holds the phone included some foam tabs you can install to prevent the power button on your phone being pressed each time you install it. I use a Samsung S8+ which I would suggest is as big a hand set as you will get in to the device. easy to set up, load a couple of free demos and off you go. The customer service was excellent. I received a couple of emails after my purchase with an e-manual and a link to a set up video. On the down side I found the padding around the head set was not firm enough and after ½ an hour the unit hurt the bridge of my nose. Also there was a link on the packaging for some free demo downloads but the link appeared to be invalid? So I used Google play store. You can't compare this to a PSVR or an Oculus product as the prices are light years apart but the problem for me is that if this was your 1st experience of VR you will likely be disappointed and not pursue the format, and if enough people do that then developers will not advance the format due to the user base being too small. It's like the first time you go to Euro Disney and you think its great! Right up to the day you visit Disneyland Florida and you realise that actually Euro Disney is pretty rubbish! I don't want to rubbish this item because, for the price you are paying its a good product, I just don't think it is a good representation of what VR can do. I have been know to use my PSVR for 5 or 6 hours but I used this item for 45 minutes then returned it to the box and it hasn't been out since! I am however now looking at an oculus quest as I like the concept of completely wireless VR. So the purchase was not a complete waste of time and hopefully some of the people that purchase this will come to the same conclusion and move to a proper headset, albeit "unfortunately" at a "proper price" It's good, it's just not real VR

This headset is really cool, you just open the phone tray and slide your phone in. Headset will fit the majority of smartphones and will play most 3D virtual reality videos and games. In the box you will find the headset and a simple instruction manual (but it's really straight forward to use, I didn't even need to check the instructions). It fits over your head and there is a elasticated strap which also adjustable if you need. The soft padding around the eye/face unit makes it comfortable to wear. It is really fun to use and I found plenty of free content online, I have watched a 3D cartoon which was good and I have tried a rollercoaster simulator which was really fun. This VR headset makes things immersive, with most VR content you can look around you, it's almost as if you are there. Low affordable price - so great for VR beginners, give it a go!

This was going to be a christmas present for my boyfriend, and considering the prize I didn expect an amazing quality although when I tried it ,it seems very comfortable but for my surprise it has no vision regulation and I couldnt not see a thing, which something so basic should be in this item, also the glasses where scratched a bit considering is a new item. I was very dissapointed as it was a christmas present, so I sent it back and got another one only 30 eur more expensive and definitely better which you can regulate the vision glasses and it came with a control remote also.

The video quality is good and first impressions are spectacular. However, the experience is negatively affected by the inability to securely hold a phone in place; this is because there is only a vertical clamp and the phone is changing it’s horizontal position, sliding left and right. In addition, even the vertical grip allows the top side of the phone to slide forwards. Therefore It is unfortunate that the above spoil the overall experience, as you end up getting the phone out to readjust multiple times. There is also no way to change the volume without taking the phone out. Suggestions for improving this VR headset: 1) some bright coloured marking on the vertical grip would make it much easier to align the phone, particularly in the dark 2) There should be a way to secure the phone in order to prevent any movement- I think some lateral grips are required! 3) It would be great if the position for a phone could be saved (maybe by locking in place a vertical stop on the left side, against which the phone would be aligned with the central marking on the vertical grip). Bought as a gift for my stepfather. It is the first VR headset we have had in our house and works exactly as imagined. Originally I was concerned it may be complicated as he's not very tech savvy but he read the manual and followed the user video. He found it easy to figure out. The lenses are adjustable so we were able to get a clearer image. The seller also sent on a list of free VR apps to download though he just googled 'VR free images' and relaxed on a beach in Mauritius after a rollercoaster ride. lol. For the price and quality it is a great product . Definitely recommend. PROS: Great Price Adjustable Rapid Delivery CONS: I only found this headset going through all VR headsets and may have missed out on finding it if I had just gone for the headsets displayed on Amazons first page.

I recently purchased this product and tried it with my huawei P20, using the provided QR code with the cardboard app I was experiencing horrible double vision, searched up other headsets QR codes to test and found that was the reasoning. Spend a couple of hours testing different codes finding some better than others till I found a website that allows you to manually adjust and create your own profile and QR code. If anyone else is experiencing this problem can find from searching "firebaseapp VR". Other than the problem I was experiencing above, I would have given 5 star as it's a solid product for it's price, just took a while to search where to configure it properly as the QR code may not be perfect on all devices as I experienced. Feels pretty comfortable, the adjustable lenses defiantly helps and works really well when I paired it with a wireless bluetooth headset.
