The seller has been rated as 2/5 as the product turned up with a slight warped foot plate and signs of mild wear and tear. Possible ex demo with very little play? However, fixed the item and it is excellent. I owned this model 15 years ago and forgot how smooth and solid it is. Only minor issue is setting up and down is not as easy as other hi hat models so be prepared to allow extra time or extra room as the foot pedal will only be raised once you unscrew the attachments.

Had the 9000, it’s so smooth etc but I keep coming back to the 5000 hi hat and bass pedal. Classic feel, rock solid, built like a tank.

Le top, après 20 ans de batterie j'ai enfin trouvé le pied de charley parfait. Réglage facile, précision, ne bouge pas...

Es todo perfecto, robusto a mas no poder, buena calidad, en fin es DW… trabaja muy fino el pedal, buen agarre en la alfombra que no se mueve por muy fuerte que pises, el unico pero a sido el emboltorio que igual ha sido abierto en la duana pero sin problemas
