Delighted with this loo seat. Fitting was easy, features are outstanding, completely non-slip. We have a 'modern' style bathroom suite which, to be honest, would be better off in a skip. The design is just perfect for not being able to get your arm around, under, over, through, whatever, to fasten anything. What should be the easiest of DIY jobs becomes a bone crunching nightmare. Last time we had a new seat (about 5 years ago) it took two of us just to hold the bolts and washers on so we could tighten it up, it really is almost impossible to reach the underneath of the bolts. Then we discovered these 'top fixing' loo seats and bolts. I was a bit sceptical but ordered one to take a chance. It's fantastic!! Extremely easy to fit, didn't need the instructions at all. The top fixing rubber bungs fit our pan superbly, nice and tight straight away, rock solid after the bolts were tightened. A great feature is the removable seat section so if the bolts become loose they can be tightened up in 60 seconds. The placement 'lugs' on the bottom of the seat (the bits that land on the pan rim) are made of a solid material that's completely non-slip on our pan. Even if the bolts came out completely I can't see this moving very far. Even with the bolts tight, there is some slight movement of the whole seat assembly, but this isn't because it's becoming loose, it's just the play where the removeable seat fixes into the mounting bolts. We love the soft close as well. Sooooo many times I've woken up in the night to pee, crept around the room, quietly gone into the loo then dropped the old seat with one hell of a crash. Not possible anymore. Bliss. I made just one change to the manufacturers intentions for fitting. There are two lengths of bolts provided, short for top fixing and long for bottom fixing. I used the long bolts but still used the top fixing method. I did this so that we could practice our contortion and bone breaking yoga skills to try to get the bottom bolts on as well if necessary. I genuinely don't think we'll need to do this.

Size wise, this lid fitted perfectly on our toilet and as advertised. Unfortunately the hinges would start to bend every time the seat and/or the lid were closed. Quality wise, it is not a bad toilet seat, but is not good quality either. The plastic felt very fragile. The toilet seat had also poor stability and it would wobble on the hinges. Assembly took a bit of time, but it was straightforward. The soft close worked like a charm, really smooth. The quick release buttons worked well to remove the seat and was easy to place the seat back in place. The only issue was that one of the buttons wouldn't hook into the hinge right away and needed a little bit of pressure. Both the toilet and the fittings didn't had the best of quality and we felt it wouldn't last long until it would break. Unfortunately we returned the seat, the return process was smooth. Giving 4 stars as the manufacturer was supportive and tried to help out; quick reply to our emails and gave us options to help sort out the hinges problem. Really great customer support.

Took ages to find a square toilet seat that would fit our RAK Ceramic Toilet. didn't know if it would be the right shape but took a chance and so glad I did. Perfect size shape and super build quality. The soft close action is a bonus and works for both the seat and the lid...no more waking the family in the middle of the night. Comes with comprehensive instructions and 2 sets of installation screws that work with both normal and close coupled toilet basins. HIGHLY recommend this product

I purchased two of these, and firstly I’d like say that this toilet seat is of very good quality, and the soft close is also good. However, I will very quickly follow that compliment with the problem I encountered. It is IMPOSSIBLE to securely attach the seat to the lavatory pan without it wobbling using the connection materials supplied. Now, I’m not stupid. I can read and understand instructions and am quite adept at straightforward DIY. I struggled for over an hour to securely attach the toilet seat, trying the different fixing methods provided, effing and jeffing without any success 🤬 Not one to be defeated, I ended up using some of the fittings from the old seat and some rubber washers to achieve a secure, no-wobble connection. I took this knowledge with me into the next bathroom and fitted the second toilet seat inside 10 minutes! They both look great and are working well now, but please be aware of this issue when buying.

Many reviews say the toilet seat moves while others say it doesn’t. I’d like to point out, that the package for this toilet seat contains 2 different tripe of fixings you can use. The white plastic one is flimsy and won’t securely hold down the toilet seat and this is the fixing on our old toilet seat that caused it to move relentlessly which is why we needed a replacement. We used the black rubber ones and screwed it tightly and it wouldn’t budge. Of course we’d need more time to say that it’s solidly sturdy but so far it’s doing amazing. Using the black fixing was simple and easy compared to the white one (so I’d really advise you to pick the black rubber fixing when installing). The seat is a soft close, does take a while to close but we’re not bothered. The quick release button makes it easy to clean, no extra fuss. Overall an amazing and well needed replacement.

Perfect fit, leave a little loose to adjust so your happy with final position ,then tighten up. Not flimsy or cheap as others have said.
