Barbie Collector Basics Model 006

The Doll is amazingly pretty! It took me back to the days they were sold in store and I wanted them all. To me she is a beauty I love the Carnaval face sculpt on her and she looks very cute. The box came a bit squished but I blame it on the post office since the shipping box had a lot of the hard blows. Either way I still recommend you get this beauty

This is a really stellar doll. The Barbie Basics Collection from the 2010s was really something wonderful for mature collectors. This series was really outside the 'pink' box and I about squealed like a teenager when they started bringing out ALL the different face sculpts. This Doll has the Carnaval Collector face sculpt (much like the Casey plus size-face sculpt) and always seemed the most happy, mischievous doll in the collection. Her hair does have quite a bit of product (most dolls of this era do, for whatever reason) or glue, so it's definitely like 'locked curls' unless one does a boil-wash or two plus conditioning, etc. This doll has a Model Muse Body with painted finger and toe nails, wears a really cute black dress (basic) with black heels. A must have for anyone interested in Barbie for this time period/series.

I do love this doll. Among the basic model collection dolls this one is one of the most beautiful. Different face, nice and curly silky hair and top quality plastic. The outfit, is simple and cheap, made of a small piece of stretch black fabric as all other top models. I do not mind though, the price is consistent with that. Just changing her clothes you will get a runway princess look just because the high quality of such a not conventional barbie doll.

She’s such a pretty doll and her pose is a very sexy unfortunately her foot is twisted inward I think I could straighten it out I’ve done it with a doll I found at the secondhand store I think it must’ve been in a place where there was heat and it just stayed that way but she still is very pretty

I'm glad this doll was relatively inexpensive compared to the other Barbie Basics, because she was a huge disappointment. She looks like so many Barbies out there--the toothy smile and wide blue eyes. This one looks like a young teen, where the others look more mature. Not saying that there's anything wrong with this doll--she's just not what I wanted for my collection.
