From the photos you'll see the reported capacity is legitimate and the speeds are reasonably good for these kinds of drives. These are great as a bulk set of drives. I bought the set of 10 x 64GB drives. They're multicoloured so that means it's easy to not mix them up like if you had 10 black ones with no labels. We're reorganising and backing up data from various devices, as well as sending off photos and memories to family and friends. So these will come in handy as a cheap set of smaller storage devices to keep or put in the post. USB pen drives are a lot easier and more accessible than SD or MicroSD cards, and are simply plug and play for any computer of the last 25 years. 64GB can store a lot of photos, audio and a fair bit of video as well. Although these speeds are reasonably good for a USB flash drive, it will take some time to fill the drive if you're moving a lot of files. These drives write at about 15-25 MB per second (and slower with lots of small tiny files). If you need to move files quicker or a bulk movie collection, I'd recommend either an external HDD which would give about 70-100MB/s, or an SSD or external NVME SSD drive which can go for several hundred MB per second or even gigabytes per second. However, those alternatives are much more expensive and less easy to transport than these tiny pen drives. One last note, the capacity on these shows as 58.8 GB. I believe this is due to provisioning, so the drive can reshuffle data in case some of the drive goes bad, and this is normal on flash storage. Worth just bearing in mind if you want to fill these to the brim. Overall, I understand why these drives are at the top of the Amazon best seller charts, they may not be the swankiest piece of storage, but they serve a very practical need. And at under £3 a pop, if you buy in bulk, they are excellent reliable value.

Slow write speed around 7Mbps, compared with eg 50Mbps for eg Sandisk one but are ok for the price 2. Have subsequently found one of the 5 has failed out of the box - kept flashing and came up with 'bad disk' in Minitool PWz

Bought these some months ago with the intention of using them to share some important files with people that didn't want to share via the 'cloud' - but in the end they did so the 'sticks' went unused. Today I tried to put approx 19GB music onto one but the process stalled after about 1GB and ythe stick disappeared from view in the file browser. Tried two more sticks, same outcome. Tried ancient Sandisk Cruzer Blade - no problem (and yes I did format the sticks prior to use (and was suspicious that formatting took about a nanosecond)).

Four out of the five formatted no problem. One wouldn't even be detected by the PC. I tried it in Windows and in Linux - nothing. I will use them to format and maybe to copy over the odd files, but I won't be using them for long term for anything important like college work. Speed is average for a 2.0 usb, the plastic feels brittle, but I won't be using them for years. It was the orange one that never worked... In case you were wondering.

À moins de 3€ la clé USB rien à redire. Les clés font 8Go au format FAT32, je les ai toute converties en exFAT sans problème. Points positifs: -détectées et ouvertes instantanément dans l'explorateur Windows, aucune latence. -taux de transfère de 10mo/s constant pour les gros fichiers, pour les petits fichiers ça fluctue entre 7mo/s et 13mo/s, aucun problème de ce coté là. -facile de les attacher via le trou dans la protection. -couleurs vives pour distinguer chaque clé d'un coup d'oeil. Point négatif: -la moitié des leds ne s'allument pas, ou alors trop faiblement pour que ça soit visible, si ça vous arrive pas d'inquiétude, c'est uniquement esthétique et ça n'a aucun impact sur le fonctionnement de la clé. Très satisfait de mon achat.
