Functional keyboard with low profile keys
This keyboard is an improvement over my original Dell in as much that the keys are a lower profile making typing a breeze. It is wider (longer depending on your definition), running along the wrist rest. This means further arm movement to the numbers on the right - I would have preferred it to be more compact and I still haven't gotten used to the additional distance - several inches would you believe (yeah-yeah you might laugh but it does make a difference)! However, for the price point at the time I really can't complain. It isn't a silent strike, therefore if you are a touch typist like myself, it can be a little clackity clack until you get into the rhythm and it becomes part of the background hum. So pros: lower profile keys than some, excellent price point - and oh yes a good long cable - always essential when not going wireless. Cons: the main one being the size - sometimes it does matter! Particularly if you have a smaller hand/arm like myself - but I will get used to it and it is so much better than the sticky keyed (and I don't mean dirty) 16 year original that I had before it!

Excellent and Durable
The Kensington Wired Keyboard is a solid, well-built keyboard that provides excellent typing quality for its price. I’ve been using it with my Mac, and while it’s primarily designed for PC compatibility, it functions fairly well with Mac devices. The build quality is excellent—sturdy, durable, and feels much more premium than most budget keyboards on the market. It’s clearly built to last, and the keys have a nice, responsive feel, making it comfortable for long typing sessions. However, one drawback I found when using it on a Mac is that some keys don’t work as expected. This keyboard is clearly optimized for Windows/PC layouts, so certain functions or keys don’t map directly to macOS shortcuts. For instance, the Windows key doesn’t translate perfectly to the Command key, and a few other specific keys have minor compatibility issues. This can slow you down if you’re used to Mac-specific shortcuts. It would be great if Kensington made a Mac-compatible version of this model because the quality is outstanding, and it would be ideal for users who switch between operating systems. For PC users, this keyboard is likely a perfect fit. For Mac users, it’s a good option if you’re okay with the occasional mismatch or are willing to remap keys. Pros: • Solid build quality; feels very durable • Comfortable and responsive typing experience • Affordable for the quality Cons: • Some compatibility issues with macOS • Windows/PC layout may confuse Mac users

Just like other people have said, for the price, this is an excellent quality keyboard. The keys have a great soft quiet action and are easy to press. Very impressed.

Good basic keyboard
Ok for a basic keyboard has the standard UK layout. Eqsybto use plug in and use with a PC no drivers needed. Comfortable keys when using and good typing speed. The size of it same as a standard keyboard and the look of it is normal sleek black with keys white print. LEDs illuminated good when needed only down side is for myself my space bar stick now and then but I can live with that.

The Kensington 1500109 Value Wired Keyboard was purchased due to the fact my Dell computer was purchased in Portugal and so came with a Portuguese character keyboard. I managed as I set the language to English, but had to remember where special characters were on the keys as they were printed differently. The Kensington solved this issue although a little wider than the Dell one as can be seen in the picture. The keyboard itself was nice to use, the key were soft and easy to type and the elevated legs on the back gave the board just the right elevation to ease strain on the wrists. Unfortunately, after 16 months, the space bar and some of the central keys have failed to work, (I only found this out when trying to sign in and it not accepting my password!) It has had very little occasional use as the pc is only used to submit bills once a month. A shame really, but I'm back to using the original Dell one (bottom of the picture).

Exceeded my expectations, simple to set up for use. Bought to resolve issue with certain laptop keyboard keys which malfunctioned.
