Amazon Basics Preventative Topical Flea Treatment for Medium Cats (5-9 Pounds), 6 Count

Great product works well on its own have only found 2 small living flees less than 24hrs later. 3 out of 4 kittens (4-5 mo old) had capstar fallowed by this product which is quicker results with this product to bolster longer term treatment with 0 flees in less than a day where my 4th who didn't have any capstar had 2 small living flees and slower results but I'm still highly impressed with the results 10 out of 10 would buy again. Having 4 kitties it is safer if you separate them until medicine drys.

This works better than the formula for small cats. We had a stray that left us with 5 cats and this works as well as the several hundred dollar version it would cost us to treat all of them. Very happy. You do have to wash everything and vacuum daily until they are gone.

Okay, so it's not revolution plus, but it does offer flea control, it's easy to apply, the smell is as you would expect from other medications, so nothing different much in those areas. It's not going to cure heartworms like revolution, it's not going to kill ear mites from what I've noticed, but this is only my second time buying it, so I will report back with any noticeable improvements. It's half the price of other, and works the same. Like I said, the only flea treatment I would say is better than this one would be revolution plus, because that does kill everything, but at $22 a dose, it's no wonder. This comes out to less than $4 a dose. I noticed as soon as I put it on, there is scratching, but after that, it is calmed down. This is typical with all flea medications, because if your pet does have live fleas they run up to the face area, so your pet is going to scratch. That should subside in about 24 to 48 hours, however.

Bought this for cats and bought the Amazon version for dogs too and both don’t work! 2 treatments and they keep getting fleas. Asked vet about it and he said animals are resistant to this.

These meds have been a blessing!! I had a bad flea infestation for a while and not enough money for go to a vet for my cats. I have tried everything in the books and all other forms of flea meds and none have worked. My family recommended me these and within a day I didn’t see any more fleas!! It does have a bad smell but it doesn’t irritate my cat’s skin like the others do.

This is a high-quality fleet treatment product that cuts the price down drastically from the mainstream products like advantage plus for example which typically will run you about $70 per box and does not have nearly as many treatments in it. I would absolutely suggest anybody looking for an Inexpensive way to get their cats treated and to have the same piece of mind as a person who paid for the traditional namebrand Amazon basics is definitely for you and I can tell from personal experience it works just as well

I was hesitant to use this product at first but my little female has been battling minor flea agitation and skin sores. I tried advantage(works good) frontline(works the best) fleguard(no effect) and now Amazon basics flea control…..this stuff works just as good as frontline. This has been my experience and I hope it helps you, I will be purchasing this for now on and will use the extra money for more treats and a new comfy bed for baby girl! I found this product safe , easy to apply, effective , fast acting and it didn’t appear to have any adverse affects on her skin. This catdaddy approves! Every year it seems like the otc flea treatments get more expensive and less effective. I figured I would give this one a shot and at least try to save some money. This ended up being a great idea. Just as easy to use as any of the name brands, and seemed to be identical in smell. I used this on 10 different cats and didn’t have any problems or side effects. Out of the 10, it was fully effective on 9 and mostly effective on one (for some reason that cat tends to be more of a “flea magnet”). It was roughly 3 weeks before I started noticing fleas again, but this tends to be the case with most topical otc treatments according to my vet. This has been the most effective option I have found at this price point and will continue with this brand as long as it keeps working!
