Infested with bugs
Underripe, dry, have bugs inside. I used to appreciage dates from this brand, but the last batch - and oh dear, I got whole 3 kilograms - not up to the usual quality. They are white inside, taste dry, less sweet than dates usually taste. Today I discovered tiny bugs inside of a date.

Old and dry batch
The batch I got was old and they were much drier than normal.. i usually buy this brand directly from the brand website and the dates are fresh and juicy. These for sure have been hanging around the warehouse for a long time.

I swapped to these from Ocado because I wanted to buy in bulk (and they use a lot of plastic!). The first batch was comparable but the last was way too dry so I am going back to Ocado even though it is a little more expensive.
