Solid and perfect fit
Before I write my actual review I want to comment on something I've read in a few. A few people have mentioned a "flimsy rubber stand" in their reviews. It isn't actually a stand. Having looked at it, I realised it looked like a cover for a Dock, when I checked the box, it does list a "protect case for dock" (I'd assume a JSAUX model), it's a nice extra addition so you can place your Steam Deck on the dock with the case on. Most docks appear to be far too narrow, so this would have been a real bonus. I'm not sure why JSAUX don't mention it anywhere on the listing. I personally ordered the Mod Case with the attachable Dock, but... If I had known the case came with this piece, I probably would have opted for one of their stationary docks. 🤷🏽♂️ Now for the actual review... The case is amazing. It feels solid and fits incredibly well, without restricting use. It adds a decent amount of weight to the deck, which I personally really do like. I'm quite tall and have big hands, and the added weight is just makes it feel more solid. As someone with big hands, the Steam Deck (without case) isn't the most ergonomic. Playing with the case on felt a lot more comfortable. The front cover is great as well, and padded, for the extra protection whioe on the move. The kickstand is also nice to have. It's solid metal, attaches firmly, and does not get in the way of play. I've used it when putting my Deck down to charge. The dock also attaches easily, and keeps the case standing well. I haven't tried the battery pack strap yet, but if the quality is comparable... I can't see what could go wrong. Easy 5*

Practically perfect
I want to quickly point out a few bad points because they are honestly quite small in the grand scheme of things: - The kick stand drops down a little bit when you're holding the steam deck. This isn't a big deal, but instead of sitting flush to the deck, gravity pulls it down about 1cm away from the back of the case. This doesn't appear to affect the kickstands ability when you are actually using it though. - The trigger buttons are still slightly exposed. I feel like this is one of the most common negatives I see for this case, but honestly I am not convinced it is actually THAT big of a deal. I definitely would not feel worried at all about the triggers if I was just throwing this into a bag (I use a bag with a dedicated Steam Deck slot though so this is even less of a concern for me personally). - I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing, but the front case is a little awkward to get off because it sticks to the front of the deck so well. The way I end up taking it off, is resting the deck on my lap and then holding both ends with my fingers and using my thumbs to push the front case up and off the deck. This can sometimes end up with the front case flipping up and away from you so you have to be careful not to fling it on the floor. The good things: - Everything feels study and the fit is fantastic. - It doesn't feel bulky at all and when I am using the deck you don't even notice that there is a case on it. - The front cover fits really well and is very study in place. Absolutely no worries that it will accidentally fall off, the analogue sticks are well protected and so you don't have to worry about them breaking in your bag from being pushed and held in one direction. The triggers are also really well protected, even if they aren't completely covered. - There is a cut out for the charging port that allows for those 90 degree angle charging cables to be used. Or just about any charging cable you have really. The kickstand works really well and it feels nice and stable when it is resting up. There is only one angle you can set it to, but I feel like it is a decent angle personally. - The volume and power buttons are covered up for protection but easily able to be pressed. - The accessory I got to hold a power bank or similar on the back of the case works really well. I tested it with my INIU 25000mAh power bank and it holds it in place well and feels nice and safe. The fastening can be a little fidgety but it gives me more confidence that they will stay in place as a result so I guess it is a positive rather than negative. I cannot test the cover that came with it for a Dock, because I don't have a dock to test it with, but I assume based on the rest of the product that this is also good quality. Conclusion: Overall, it is pretty close to perfect in my opinion. It is a lot cheaper than the Killswitch case which is the other major one that most people recommend, and I don't think there is likely to be much difference in quality (It sounds like the Killswitch case will be marginally better, but it is also more than double the price) If you want a good quality case but don't want to break the bank, then I highly recommend this case.

If you want to meet the devise safe buy it
I love it. Best case ever. It’s easy to use it feels very sturdy and strong the stand it super nice and very good. It is a little bit thicker and make the device a little heavier but it’s grips are great and the lid is easy to put on and off. Also the device is still fully functional and very well protected I’m very happy as Jsaux makes the best accessories for the steam deck in my opinion

Good case for comfort, but not the best quality control and the cover scratches easily
I primarily bought this case as a better grip for my steam deck and it has done that job amazingly, it is much more comfortable to hold, far less slippy, and I'm not worried about dropping it anymore. The front cover is nice for being able to chuck the deck into my bag without putting it in the stock case so takes up much less space. The cover provides protection for the entire front of the console as well as protecting the triggers and sd card slot. I like that it allows charging while the cover is on! My biggest gripes with this cover is that it is very difficult to remove from the system (pulling from the bottom which I assume is the correct method) and it has left marks on the rubberish material attached to the steam deck itself over time which is a shame. The cover also seems to scratch very easily in my bag. In the photo there are scratches that have accumulated from a short time in my bag with nothing but the power adapter with it. To be fair, this is merely aesthetic but I would have expected it to hold up better than this. The fact that this case has a kickstand is a nice bonus, however the one included with mine was defective and luckily JSAUX replaced it promptly after messaging their support. The stand works well and is very sturdy as well as being detachable, the only downsides are the lack of any sort of rubber grip (painted metal) and the single angle that it can be set to.

Love this product. Provides great protection, ergonomics, functionality, and just looks freaking cool. It’s an added bonus for being inexpensive compared to other competitors, while still feeling premium. It was super easy to install as advised. It does make the Steam Deck feel heavier, but i like that, it makes me feel like I have more control when I'm playing and sturdier. The fan is great at keeping it cool when playing AAA titles I was able to get maybe an extra hour+ on BG3. The fan is louder than the onboard fan but if your playing while family is watching tv, talking, or have your volume on 2/5 higher than off, you wont notice or care. The power-bank holder is cool too. As of now only having this a couple of days, I'm not mad at this product. This is only a bad product if extremely (like extremely) sensitive to any noise, added weight, or you would rather buy the most expensive product just to say you did (side eyeing that person); everyone else will love this.

This is a FANTASTIC case. I take my Steam Deck to work and play on my lunch breaks. I have a relatively small bag, so the full Valve case didn't fit. However, with this case it fits PERFECTLY! With the front cover, it protects it well and I don't have to worry about the screen getting scratched. All the moddable attachments are also really nice to have for an external battery, etc. The stand works super well, very sturdy with no flex what do ever. 8 also have the JSAUX dock that I use at home, and the steam deck still fits in there perfectly with this case on. The grips where you hold the steam deck are very comfortable and don't let it slide out of your hands. Pulling off the front cover is a bit tough, I do wish there was an easier way to detach rather than peeling it off aggressively everytime. But putting the cover on is a piece of cake, the fits are perfect when closing it up. It's relatively thick, which I like. I have not dropped it so I can't really comment on how well it'd protect a dro. I have no complaints what so ever, it is absolutely worth the money!
