I recently had knee surgery and subsequently needed assistance in bathing and getting dressed. These tools are a big assist in keeping me independent. The grabber is good for grabbing things that are out of reach, holding trousers open so I can put my feet in them, and holding shoes by the tongue so I can put them on. The sock puller has a single but very important function. The hook stick helps take things off. The sponge device is good for washing your back when bathing. The only criticism I have is that the friction sponge on the sock puller sometimes gets caught on the sock and begins to come off. Double sided tape or glue may fix that issue, but I would have preferred that they include a few extra pads in the package. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the quality and usefulness of this kit.

This is a pretty good kit and I would give it a higher mark if the grabber worked better. The sock aid for putting on socks without having to bend works great and I have used it a lot until just recently, 8 weeks after my back surgery. The grabber worked great at first but since the string it uses is fabric it stretches and the claw does not close firmly when trying to grab something. I was able to tighten it and it works pretty well now. The other two pieces worked well too.

Exactly what I needed after major spinal surgery. Everything worked well. The sock thingee is pure magic, everyone had to try it.

I bought this kit for the sock helper... I've had a hip replacement and sometimes I have trouble getting a sock on my left foot... If you have wide flat feet you might want to purchase the extra wide sock helper cuz sometimes it's difficult to get my foot in this one but for the most part it works... The grabbers are not the best quality but they work & the other stuff we're just extras I really didn't need... Overall it seems to be a good value...
