Make them fit perfect!
First off, you're paying $10 for 4 cheap pieces of plastic, don't expect perfect. I was happy with them because I knew I could make them perfect for my specific application. These are a great deal if you know what to do with them. The negative reviews could absolutely be true and are well founded. These things could fall off, or not fit quite right etc, but with a little work on your part, they will be perfect. Pro-tip: 1. To get these to fit perfectly, use a bit of indirect heat on them to get them a little bit soft and pliable, and then slip them on (Make sure they aren't too hot where you'd burn your shade or anything). Once you get it on, clamp it in place, hold it in place or do something to keep it in place until the plastic cools. This will make a perfect fit that won't come off. Don't heat it up too much or else you'll make the plastic brittle and it will break if you ever try to take it off. Just enough to soften it up so you can clamp it in place. 2. Once you're done getting it in place, put a little plastic protectant, like Armor All or something on it and you'll find the sun side doesn't get all brittle and break. Should last a nice long while. Cheap stuff like this can usually be made to do what you need it to do with a little ingenuity. Hopefully you found this helpful!

Works as expected
These slid onto the bottom of my roller pull shades with no problem. I like that they're clear so it doesn't take away from the decor. They haven't slipped off, which I don't see how that could happen. They do tend to glide off center from repeated use but, because they are clear, I don't feel the need to re-center them. Perfect size, not too big or too small.

Plastic too hard!
These are too hard of plastic! I installed 3 out of 4 of these. By the time I put the third one on the first one popped and broke in two pieces. The next two did the same thing! I do not recommend.

Perfect for the Job
I had built some custom Roman Shades from fabric and didn't want to get hand oils and dirt on the bottom of the window shades from grabbing it in the same place every time. These plastic handles slipped on the bottom of the window shades very easily and stay in place in the center of the bottom of the shades. They are comfortable to grip and do the job. A simple well made product for a simple job. If I make more fabric window shades, I would definitely purchase these again.

Fragile! You must be very gentle with these!
I bought these to use on pull-down roller shades. There wasn't enough "give" in the plastic for me to be comfortable pushing it over the bottom rail (bar) of the shade. I was afraid it would break the clip or the bar of the shade. So, I had to slide it on the from one side. This almost tore the material of the shade. It definitely left crinkles in the edges. The bottom bar of my shade isn't as thick as the bottom of the clip so it was loose on the shade, sliding from one side of the shade to the other, which was annoying. I was very careful and slid it back to the center of the shade before I gently pulled the shade down, however, the first time my husband pulled one of the shades down, the clip came off the shade and snapped in half. I think if your shade's bottom bar is the same size as the bottom opening of the clip, you wouldn't have any problems. Sadly, that is not the case with me.
