This grinder is somewhat lighter than comparable more expensive brands. We use it for heavy duty cleaning and it works very well. The trigger style power switch is better than just the ones with a button that locks and has to be held very tightly with one hand while you un-click it. Reliability has been good. Comes with various attachments to get you started, and of course a guard, and tool for removing attachments. All in, a solid power tool at a very affordable price.

My husband needed an affordable replacement angle grinder for work since all of his tools got stolen on a job site~ this was the least expensive model I could find~ and so far so good. It cuts and grinds through sheet-metal with no issues at all. He’s been using it every day now for about 3 months. Nothing but a positive experience. The handle is nicely coated; making it comfortable to use and does a really good job at protecting from vibration. It’s got a solid build construction and an extra handle included in the box; this helps keep the machine stable while in use. It came in a heavy duty toolbox sort of case which was A pleasant surprise~ With extra space in there to keep other tools easily accessible~ Like A tape measure and a few screwdrivers fit easily. Also durable enough to keep the machine safe while in rugged work conditions. The Battery life is perfect for his needs~ he gets about 30 minutes of use on one charge and it only takes another 30 minutes to fully recharge it again~ He was able to pick up another battery online at a low price just to have in case of an emergency. Also nicely equipped with safety locks. The machine is quite compact considering how powerful it is~ Overall, I am extremely pleased with this grinder for $100 it was an amazing value and I look forward to trying other tools from this brand in the future.

I purchased this tool solely because it is a variable speed grinder. I do car restoration and don't always need 13,500 rpms to do light grinding. I bought this not expecting much, but it is a really good value. Powerful, and vary complete kit with all you need to get busy. It is powerful, high quality (probably not for professional use) but just right for the hobbyist like me. The price is also very attractive as I like to have an assortment of tool to use. Only minor downside if it even is one is it is a bit louder than my grinder but it is a grinder after all, and I have ear plugs if needed.

I would highly recommend this unit. It is very powerful and easy to use. I originally looked at the 3 1/2" unit but if you do any kind of work around the house, look into getting the 4 1/2" angle grinder. I used the diamond tipped grinding wheel to cut some bricks when I was working on the patio. The 4 1/2' wheel cuts deeper and makes it easier to work with thick pieces like stone and brick. This particular unit has a very powerful motor and I found that it did not bind even when cutting thick bricks. I like the fact that it has a variable speed feature which makes it easy to start a cut, then go to full speed to finish the job. It comes with a wide variety of cutting and polishing wheels and is a great value for the money. You definitely need one of these in your tool chest.

not the best quality. the unit has a rattling noise when it is in use. at one point it smelled hot under normal use. I personally do not believe it is worth the money and will be returning the one I purchased.

Really nice tool! ....just used it to cut out sheet rock/dry wall in my bathroom. Everything cut like butter!

Admittedly, first angle grinder I've ever used/owned. However, I am very pleased. It seems solid, comes with a variety of disks and flap wheels, adjustable speed, best price by far. Carved hole in tile with ease for shower valve. Will be using to polish granite edge next.

I like the lockable trigger. It came with spare brushes. That Handel feels good. I've used it 3 times while welding up a 225 deere excavator bucket along with a 7 inch makita. It vibrates a little mote than the 5 inch bosh and the 5 inch makita that I use to have. The bosh didn't have a lockable trigger and both are more than double the price of this so I decided to try it. I'm happy with it. I like the variable speed dial. It's good to be able to slow it down if your using a larger disc.

Works great. Cord is stiff though.
