Been using this for 10 months and has worked very well for all games. It looks almost like an official xbox controller. Very solid to use and does not feel cheap. The X button does not light up, but there's an LED just below it that does. There are a few minor issues with it. The left and right bumpers are extremely sensitive, where only a slight tap the controller sets them off. Sometimes just resting your finger on them causes it to register. It's not really a bad thing, better overly sensitive than not at all. More recently I've started to notice a slight stick drift and your character will start moving slowly on its own. But moving the sticks a bit seems to fix it. Other than that it works very well on PC, and generally have had no problems. I think this would be much better if it had its own wired in wire, rather than use a removable one, as different cables have different results. You can connect it using any standard USB-C charging cable (for like your phone), but I think it would just be better having a built in wire. Otherwise this gives a wrong impression that its wireless. The controller has no battery and cannot be used wirelessly. This would be so much better if it had both options, to connect either wirelessly/bluetooth to a computer, or use as wired (that would make more sense for this to have a removable cable). This however does not seem to work on my old Xbox 360 console, it just will not power up the controller (or vice-versa). I don't have another console to try it on though. But if you're looking for a controller for your PC, I would recommend this, I really haven't had any control issues, and works just like you'd expect it to. Even has dual rumble.

For only £20 this is definitely the best Xbox controller on the market in the budget price range. I was a bit worried about the white and grey because in the pictures I couldn’t tell if it was going to look a bit cheap, but I was pleasantly surprised as it doesn’t look too bad. It is wide but that’s not really a big deal because the cable is quite long. I think it’s 2 m but it is good quality. This is my 3rd PowerA budget controller, and they’ve all been great, I’ve never had any problems with connectivity or stick drift or anything. I never worked great for years. The only complaint which I do have is that the left and right shoulder buttons aren’t clicky and don’t feel like they have enough depth to them, but they still work perfectly fine! It’s also nice that it’s got the actual Xbox logo on it compared to some of the other cheap controllers. There is a desktop piece of software for it, but you can’t do anything with it apart from check the inputs from the controller so there’s not really a use for it, and I wouldn’t bother downloading it, but still it’s just a good cheap controller.

This is a great controller for someone who is looking for the perks of a scuff/elite controller but without the price tag. It feels great in the hand, has a long power cable and looks great. Downsides are that I find the back paddles, top numbers and left stick are quite prone to breaking/ losing function. This is the 4th one I’ve had in 1.5 years- I guess for the price it is quite easily replaceable.

Great design of a controller, with it having good functionality and as it’s wired there’s no lag with there not being any stickiness in the joysticks either. It also has a lot of buttons on it with you being able to bind the buttons at to the back and also lock your triggers in certain games.

EDIT: Aug 2022. Not had this long and stick drift on both sticks has rapidly become so bad it's becoming unusable now. Sadly not great, I'm going to have to see if I can return it as it's way less than a year old. Original review, Mar 2022: "Well, this does exactly what it's described to do... a wired controller with the ability to duplicate two of its buttons to the ones underneath... Exactly what I needed as I've associated the A button (jump) with one, and X (reload and use) with the other. Now I don't have to move my thumbs when in the thick of the fight. Loving the customisable LED lighting too, it adds a super cool finish to it. In game it feels solid and works really well. The response is as good as any controller I've used and I have to be modest and admit that my kill/death rate has actually measurably improved simply because of the custom button function as I described above. Spot on in that respect. I'm no pro gamer but this has certainly helped me improve! I've also found the trigger switches to be pretty cool too. They have three positions which are; standard triggers as per normal Xbox controllers, medium hair trigger setting and very quick hair trigger which is basically a fast acting switch. I leave it on the fastest setting for shooters and I find I can rapid fire pistols much quicker with it! I have to set them to normal for games like Minecraft though as I don't think the game recognises them otherwise. It's a really cool addition to this controller and again it's improved shooting time in first person shooters and the like. As it says, this will work on Xbox or PC via USB cable, and it does work well on PC. I've tried a few controllers on PC and prefer the Xbox style layout as firstly I'm used to it, but I find it rather efficiently laid out too. In short it works! One time it did glitch out though. It stopped responding and left me running sideways in a game as though it had locked up in the software? I unplugged to reset it and when plugged back in it defaulted back to factory settings, so I had to rebind the buttons and reset the LED colours. Not a major problem as it's easy peasy to do, but a pain when it cost me the game in the first place! It's only happened once, and I can only hope it doesn't do it again, but given the amount of use it's had since I bought it I've kind of forgotten it did that! It's been well used since then believe me! Overall a good controller, and thus far I've not encountered any issues (other than the one off glitch I mentioned above) and believe me it's had a thrashing! Does exactly what I needed it for."

Works for my XBox One, and the cable is just long enough for my kids to sit in front of the tv without accidentally pulling the XBox down off the tv stand. Feels just like the original MS XB controller, and works great. I really like the lower price due to not having a wireless function. Definitely good value for money.

Cette manette est vraiment super belle. La couleur est magnifique et elle est douce au toucher ! Le seul point négatif c'est que les saletés se coincent facilement dans les joysticks que je dois du coup régulièrement essuyer (pourtant je dirai que j'ai des mains plutôt propres). Mis à part ça elle fonctionne très bien, il suffit de la brancher et on peut jouer :) (en tout cas sur windows). J'hésitais un peu car j'étais plutôt habituée à jouer sur la manette ps4 mais je regrette pas mon choix d'avoir changer sur cette manette xbox.

Looks awesome and feels great. Upgrades from the "Xbox one original controller" so its more than a welcome upgrade. If I run into problems later on like some reviews do, then I will be sure to edit this. As for day one though, it feels and looks great.
