FAHRER Battery Cover for Bosch eBike Systems - Power Pack 300 & 400 - Active/Performance line - Frame Battery

The cover is a great fit for the Bosch battery. It is well made and I’m sure will do the job it is designed for. It is easily fitted. Though a bit pricey, it is worth spending the extra as ebikes don’t come cheap and need to be looked after, including the battery.

Fits the battery well and seems to be well made and generally a good quality item. Yet to use it in the wet and cold to see how effective it is in helping the battery keep its charge for longer in the winter, fingers crossed it does because at best part of £40 it isn't cheap. Delivered inside a week, just, but other items I ordered via eBay on the same day as this arrived days earlier so some room for improvement here I think.

The cover fits snugly over the battery however, it is not until you receive the item that a SAFETY WARNING is provided: "It is recommended that the Akku Cover is only be used at temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius Use of the Akku Cover at temperatures above 15 degrees Celsius (59 degrees Fahrenheit) may cause the E-Bike battery to overheat." (Akku Cover battery protection additional US/CD Manual 337). This information ought to have been included in the product listing as it would affect buying decisions. For the summer months when there is a lot of dust it would have been useful to have a simple protective cover that would not require a safety warning. Relative to the cost of a child's wetsuit in a local store more complex in design but of the same type of material, this is a fairly expensive item and, if it can only be used during the winter, is of very limited use.

Fits snugly and gives the battery plenty of protection from mud and stones. Also keeps it just that bit warmer to maintain the charge. Might have to remove it in the Summer as the battery would possibly get a bit too warm, we'll see.

Battery fits onto my bike with the cover on, I had to remove a small bit of velcro, but its a good fit.

Protects the battery from the elements and some knocks, and keeps some of the heat in during cold weather. It is well finished and easy to fit on and remove, held in place with a velcro strip you need to stick on the power pack

I have tried several times but just cant get the battery back onto the bike once the cover is on it, and the cover can only be put on it when its off the bike! So I am unable to use it om my ebike 400w bosch battery.

A generic brand, but fits the Bosch 3/4 and 500w battery perfectly. Well made product.

ottima copertura. io la uso per mettere la seconda batteria su trek che poi fisso con 2 semplici cinghiette. la copertura non la fa scivolare

Produit conforme à ce qui est attendu. S'adapte parfaitement et protège bien la batterie. Un petit orifice dans le néoprène est même prévu pour passer la clé et déverrouiller la batterie.

Necesitaba proteger la batería, basicamente del frio ya que sufre mucho a bajas temperaturas. Confío en que siendo de neopreno cumpla su función. Para quien suele usar la bici eléctrica en invierno se lo aconsejo.
