does more than it says in the box, although it hasnt done all it says in the box yet. on initial testing it is working great. for the short journeys and 13mile journey i have done so far i have had no signal break through. in the uk the lower and higher FM bands are reserved for emergeny traffic, and this device drops as low as my car radio at 87.5 fm so is low enough to get very minimum possible breakthrough. it is reported that it only takes a maximum of 64gh usb flash drive, but i have been both using a 32gb and 128gb (scandisc).. initially both worked fine, but since the device does not support folders, ie the ability to select them you are basically getting random selections of your music. trying to figure how the device chooses to play the order of the files. but i have noticed, if you have folders and files outside the folder, it will play the outside files 1st.. so adding your favourite tunes directly to the drive then you other popular tunes inside a folder, it will play your favourite files 1st. i have noticed that pulling out the usb and putting it back in hours later it remembered what position i was, although i had added more tracks.. you are limited to 999 tracks and you can only search 1 click at a time. but using my 128gb drive and a program called freemake found online, i can add the whole album to freemake and join them to one complete album, thus adding more music than the 999 track maximum. although there are other devices that do the same thing by the same developers, that may well indeed have better track search ability, this one has extra treble and bass controls that extreemly improves the sound quality.. when using bluetooth i have not noticed the same volume level as when using the usb, but files played on your phone can be skipped the same way as skipping on the usb via the device. when using your phone to connect to live radio stations then using bluetooth.to connect to your stereo, if your phone loses the station connection due to phone coverage, the device will auto switch to the usb flash if you have one. not one to use my phone as a phone much, so i doubt i will ever get to use the hands free options, but the videos on amazon look promising.

Easy to use, decent sound quality for the price. Bass boost control actually works very well, I have OEM speakers in my car which have always sounded excessively tinny. I have now discovered this was the fault of the source from the head unit not the speakers themselves. Allows you to adjust bass & treble output to get a really decent sound. The only downside is you often have to adjust the levels slightly when switching tracks (this is probably me just being picky though). Could do with adding gain also as the master volume on the head unit needs to be much higher when using this as the source, but for the price it’s an excellent little unit.

This product was so easy to set up and easy to use. I’m using it with an iPad to listen to music,I have not tried it to answer phone I’m more than happy with this product.

Disconnects from phone every 30 to 45 minutes, I have a Motorola neo 30. Never had this problem with any other FM transmitter, total waste of money.

Fitted to elderly Volvo XC90 original stereo system, which lacked mp3, usb and Bluetooth. Setup took just a minute to select fm link. I have no use for phone, but now have endless mp3 albums via usb, and the phone button mutes the sound when needed. The bass effect is stunning enough to make a heavy metal drummer blush. Great value for money, adding new enjoyment to older vehicles. Recommended.

Major flaw on all open none broadcasted channels. When you touch any buttons static noise increases. change songs with USB drive heavy static. I tried all open FM channels from 88 to 108 same thing. Answer incoming calls Fair. You have to hold answer button one second, one second more and it hangs up. If I put my hand behind the unit the static noise completely goes away. One may say then place it somewhere else. The Cigar lighter and the Constant power outlets are most all located on the dash or center conceal. So this is the only access to controls on the unit. Unless there is a FIX, I don't recommend buying. New Update review: LENCENT contacted me and sent a replacement transmitter with new model #MT3. FREE!! New transmitter is excellent, works with no static noise. Connected onto radio frequency's that I was not able to before. Also they added AUX connection all working great.
