Smoothing Mask

I have split ends which the hairdresser noticed. She applied the Kerasilk Mask and it did wonders! I found it on Amazon a few dollars less than the Salon. I use it once a week and apply it to wet hair for five full minutes before final rinse. I’ve noticed a remarkable difference in the texture of my hair

Smells amazing and softens hair

I have frizzy hair. With the proper treatment (follow the instructions) it definitely works. I generally do not have the time, so I mix a dollop in my hand with my conditioner and use it that way. Definitely helps MY hair with the frizz. I would recommend this product.

Great for silky smooth hair. Use this instead of conditioner after shampooing. Doesn’t weigh down hair.

I love this Kerasilk mask. It's incredibly nourishing for my hair, particularly in the summer when damage from being out in the sun, at the beach and regularly at the pool tends to wear on my locks. I typically give my hair a mask treatment once a week--leaving it on my wet hair for 15-30 minutes. The jar is easy to open and lasts awhile depending on how regularly you are using it and how long your hair is. For my chin-length hair (wavy and sometimes frizzy), it takes just a (little less than a quarter size dollop) to comb through and soak into my hair. My hair is noticeably softer with less frizz after rinsing the treatment out. The scent is most noticeable while using (letting sit in your hair and then as you are rinsing it out). The scent is lovely--fresh and clean and similar to a light perfume. It's enjoyable to use as it feels like I'm treating my body with care!

I’ve recently been introduced to this brand and love their shampoo, and heat protecting spray, and this hair mask is no different, and in the top 3 I’ve ever tried. The smell is unique, yet still appealing. I took four fingers and scooped just enough to cover the tips of them. My hair fall just below my mid back and this was the perfect amount. I massaged it into my hair and mainly focused on my scalp and ends. I let it sit for about five minutes and rinsed, and oh my did my hair feel silky soft! It tamed the frizz, and my hair looked like it had been straightened after drying it. I usually put a leave in conditioner before drying, but there was zero need for it, and I woke up the next day with it still feeling and looking great!

If I'm going to pay for a high end conditioning mask I want it to do it's job. I love my DaVines, Oribe and Shu Uemura. This however didn't even do as a good of a job as the Dove nor Pantene masks. It left my hair feeling a little straw-like and it made blow drying more difficult. Also, it seemed like my split ends increased while I was using this mask. I would not pay high end prices for this but it would be serviceable if it were $10.

This hair mask definitely smooths hair and reduces frizz. It's fairly light in the world of hair masks and doesn't leave your hair feeling overly greasy or heavy. It nourishes and has bee improving the health of my hair. I like that the scent is both good and subtle, my two favorite ways scented products can be. I think this bottle does come with a good amount of hair mask but I will say that for some this is a pretty expensive product. I think the price of this is fairer for individuals with really frizzy and curly hair who are used to spending a lot on hair cosmetics. I do not know if this would be a good value if I had slightly frizzy but manageable hair. However for my curly and quite frizzy hair, this is a great product and value.
