Just the job for our wall clocks
We have six electric clocks in our house and all the clock manufacturers recommended we use zinc carbon not alkaline batteries. We've found these batteries last last 4-5 months in our clocks. When we bought these we paid £2.60 for a pack of four and thought that a good price, but now that we're having to rebuy we've found cheaper. At the time of writing we found 4+4 or 6+2 packs (8 batteries total) of the same battery for £2.60 on Amazon, so do search the listings. Pricewise we haven't seen cheaper than these Panasonics. These aren't alkaline or lithium batteries so assume that a life span of 4-5 months in a clock is typical for zinc carbon batteries. Happy!

These were purchased as I needed them to power a clock, where it was strongly suggested that I shouldn't use the usual alkaline batteries. They are so far working well, though I can't comment on their longevity yet. they appear to be good value for money.

arrived day after ordering
arrived following day this battery is reccomended by the makers of a alarm clock bought from amazone. was a bit surprised that this battery was reccomended as being a zink carbon battery it is not thought to be as green as the alcaline batteries. however it is dooing the job.
