Great Battery Life and No‑Lag Gaming Experience
The Razer Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed is an outstanding gaming mouse—lightweight, comfortable, and incredibly responsive. The dual‑mode wireless (HyperSpeed + Bluetooth) makes it super versatile, and the battery life is excellent even with heavy use. The customizable buttons and smooth scroll wheel give it that premium Razer feel, and the sensor tracks perfectly for both gaming and everyday work. Setup was fast, the build quality feels solid, and it performs flawlessly with zero lag. Overall, a fantastic upgrade for anyone who wants a reliable, high‑performance wireless mouse.

Great mid range mouse option
My previous mice include the Razer Deathadder V2, Razer Basilisk V2 X Hyperspeed, and the Logitech Pro X Superlight. This is easily the most comfortable mouse I've used, the contours feel perfect and the extra button the side is well placed and feels like a natural addition. I've personally not found the weight an issue, though it is much heavier that most other mice, even ones that use a AA battery. I do prefer the external battery as I disliked having to plug in my mouse every so often to charge it, something that became much more frequent as the internal battery lost capacity. The new switches feel excellent, a noticeable improvement from the V2. Performance is good in all areas with the exception of the scroll wheel, which feels like it eats inputs for breakfast lunch and dinner. Basically when scrolling fast the Basilisk V3 seems to skip inputs. My V2 had similar issues and eventually I had to replace it when the scroll wheel started acting haywire and scrolling on its own or backwards. Something to keep an eye on. Appearance is unremarkable. The new RGB scroll wheel is appreciated, but fairly simple in customization. I have it set to static color but you can have it be reactive to clicking, color cycle, breathing, or a few other options with Razer Synapse. One small quirk is that if you have auto sleep on, it takes a bit to actually turn back on when using it again. Whereas the Razer Deathadder V2 was near instant in my experience, the Basilisk V3 takes a few seconds to get going, which sounds like nothing but does make a difference when it happens so often. TL;DR - It's a really good mouse at this price point, good performance and great comfort. Only negative is the scroll wheel and the weight if that matters to you.

Great for the price, but a bit power (battery) hungry.
Update: This mouse chewed through a second replacement battery in 18 days. Assuming it is used an average of 8 hours per day that is 144 hours of battery life. Very far from the stated 535 hours. --- Overall I am happy with the performance and functionality of this mouse. I am not a gamer, but wanted a budget gaming mouse for its high quality sensor as my computer work requires precision control of the mouse pointer. The overall mouse quality is great. The click is satisfying and doesn't feel spongy/vague like many budget business models. The grip is comfortable and the scroll wheel has a satisfying detent. I do wish this had infinite scroll function but can't really complain about it at this price point. The wireless can be either 2.4gHz to their dongle or Bluetooth, which gives me the ability to switch between two devices without having to move the dongle from my laptop's docking station. The main gripe I have so far is the battery life. The official listing says 535 hours, but with a 1 minute timeout set on the mouse and RGBW setting as Spectrum Cycling I was only able to get 102 hours before 5% battery state with the OEM Energizer MAX. One issue I have had is that after replacing the battery the LED in the scroll wheel stopped functioning. A restart of Razer's Chroma and App Engine was required to fix. I suggest removing this bloatware immediately after competing your setup and then just re-download when you need it.

A quality mouse for everyday users
I was tired of using a mouse with cheap switches. The only choice was to upgrade to a Gaming Mouse with switches made to last. I don't do much gaming except solitaire. The mouse is comfortable to grip. The buttons are easily reached. The size is much better than a compact mouse. The surfaces that you touch have a light grain, not slick like others. It is easy to adjust the mouse speed and know the computer will respond when you press the buttons. The thumb rest is a nice design and adds a little to its footprint to make it glide even easier. The battery cover is magnetic and easy access to the one battery. I needed Bluetooth to not have a wireless dongle stuck in my laptop. It ruined one from hitting my leg. A well made mouse even if you are not a gamer.

Great quality
I picked up the Razer Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed, and it’s been a solid upgrade for my gaming setup. The customizable buttons and mechanical switches feel crisp and responsive, making it great for fast‑paced games, while the wireless HyperSpeed connection has been rock‑steady with no noticeable lag. The ergonomic shape fits comfortably in my hand, though it’s a bit on the heavier side compared to ultra‑light mice. Battery life has been impressive, and the RGB lighting adds a nice touch without draining too much power. Overall, it’s a reliable mouse that balances performance, comfort, and style really well.

Excellent budget gaming mouse!
Bought this on sale for $37 and am blown away with the quality! This mouse is great! I currently have it paired to my gaming PC Via the USB dongle and it has yet to disappoint. Mouse feels great in the hand, lightweight, accurate, and perfect size! It does run on one AA battery so no recharching which is nice!

Poor connectivity, useless lights
Poor connectivity. The mouse goes to sleep if not used for a few minutes. Fine, save the battery. The problem is it randomly won't easily reconnect. Most times it takes about 5 seconds to reconnect after going into sleep mode. Sometimes, however, it can't seem to connect and can take 15-20 seconds to connect. This is very frustrating, especially coming from a wired mouse for the last 10 years. A new feature I recently discovered and has happened to me twice now (used the mouse for about three weeks) is the mouse now randomly disconnects and won't reconnect until you pull the mouse transceiver out and put it back in. Put your transceiver in the back to free up your front USBs? Oh, you FOOL! I thought the technology had advanced, so I went with a wireless mouse. I was apparently wrong and the things are still junk. Other thoughts: - It's very light compared to my old mouse. I wanted something substantial, not a piece of fluff. - Love the AA battery, I have rechargeable batteries and it's s snap to replace this one and recharge it. Ridiculous to get an internal battery that you can't change out in a few seconds when it dies. - I wish the side buttons were not pre-programmed. I keep hitting the side button when I'm just trying to move the mouse and it'll go 'back' a page in my browser. Especially frustrating after I have spent some time typing something and I go to post it and instead hit the back button. I have no intention of installing whatever bloatware they formed to control the buttons. - The light on the mousewheel is utterly useless. Your hand covers it when in use....and it wastes the battery life. Please just stop with the useless lights and colors. No one cares. - I do like the size and shape, and the thumb pad is big and comfortable. - Controlling the speed is easy, the middle button below the scroll wheel will change the cursor speed **Edit - this piece of junk won't stay connected. It randomly disconnects and can take up to 2-3 minutes to reconnect. My $20 logitech mouse NEVER disconnects so I know it can be done. (Logitech mouse is too small for comfort, bought for a back-up) STAY AWAY from this one, I'm regretting my purchase and going to try to get my money back.
