Small but full of feature
The product is a small fit for a room or living room. It works with UAE voltage fine. Homekit setup is easy and fast. Homekit, in general, has limitations for purifiers, so don’t expect to see a lot of features. The device has one sensor that allows you to automate turning on and off if the weather quality is excellent or less. You can also enable Auto Fan in Homekit automation, which allows the purifier to start in Auto Mood. For noise, I didn’t notice any unpleasant noise even when it turned on while sleeping. The home kit is only enabled and will not appear on Amazon Alexa. The sensor is measuring only pm2.5 . No CO2 or VoC sensors. The design is elegant and very modern. Overall is an amazing device. It may need additional sensors to detect CO-LEVEL and trigger automation.

I had a Sensibo air purifier which was ok. The problem I have with the Sensibo was the large size, cheap button layout and only 2 fan speeds. I had to get one replaced as the fan became excessively noisy. The in-app subscription model for seeing graphs put me off ! I heard a lot of nice things about Airversa - I was reluctant to purchase this - cancelling my order twice before taking a leap of faith. I didnt have much expectations for it. However I was totally wrong. The built quality is amazing and weighty - the interface on both the unit and app are fab. It is very effective and has a nice status numbers for the air quality. Perhaps what I appreciate most is just how quiet the unit is on a low setting - allowing me to comfortably place it next to my bed and sleep without any annoyances. Expensive YES - but it is one of those few products you buy and get a feel good factor you parted with your hard earned cash and got value for money !!

Over the past two years; my two Airversa Purelle air purifiers have maintained clean breathing air in my home every day, working extra hard to combat exterior pollutants during the Canadian Wildfires of 2023 that brought dangerous AQI levels to our city, and throughout our recent move to a new city’s heavily populated and polluted downtown. When it came time to change the purifiers’ filters, I decided to upgrade to Airversa’s newest True HEPA PRO Replacement Filter Set, which filters up to 99.99% of fine particles in the air. While the difference between the Airversa HEPA PRO air filters with 99.99% filtration efficiency and the Airversa HEPA air filters with 99.97% efficiency might not appear much different on paper, in reality, a filter that removes 99.99% of dust, smoke, dander and other hazardous particles is capturing not only more, but also smaller sized elements than a filter offering 99.97% efficiency. These even smaller particles are considered more hazardous to human health as they are too small to be trapped by our nasal system’s natural filters. This allows smaller particles to more easily reach our lungs, and in turn our bloodstreams, which can create a risk of impact on health. Living with multiple pets in the downtown of a large metropolitan area, upgrading to more powerful air filters that capture more of the hazardous particles present in the air that enters our home was a no brainer. After understanding how much the HEPA PRO filters benefit the my home’s air quality immediately gave me an impression of lighter and cleaner air after swapping out the old filters, but the substantiated proof came shortly thereafter while cooking, when the smoke from a fry pan’s high heat sent the air purifier’s PM2.5 sensor levels soaring. The subsequent speed at which the new HEPA PRO filters tackled the high PM2.5 levels and brought them back down into single digits was noticeably faster than the previous filters, bringing me peace of mind that my new Airversa HEPA PRO filters will continue to protect the air inside my home — at an even higher rate of purification.

We put this behind the tv to stop the dust collecting on the electrical equipment and to improve the overall air quality in the room, simple connection to HomeKit, easy automations let you set on/off/fan speed through the home app, however you will need to install the sleekpoint app if you want to see the precise ppm air quality numbers remotely, the home app only shows quality by words, eg excellent, good, bad, etc, you can’t see the ppm in home, but the sleekpoint app does not require your data to function and the ppm is visible on the top of the unit when not in sleep mode. Sleep mode is silent and there are zero lights, perfect for a bedroom! Super air filter for HomeKit integration, we love it!

The overall unit looks attractive and well-made, not cheap and plasticy like some other units. It's very light to move between rooms. The read-out on top looks premium! Installation and setup was very easy compared to say a Dyson, it was done in seconds. The filters went in easily and felt sturdy and well sealed with no wobble. One minor thing on the instructions - it wasn’t clear that you have to scan the qr. I just knew this step from having many other HomeKit items! The unit is very quiet in night mode, you can barely hear it, although the air output is also very low. I noticed that this unit only detects pm2.5 unlike the Dyson that has PM 2.5, PM 10, VOC and NO2 but of course the Dyson is significantly more expensive! I see other purifiers like my Levoit only has PM2.5 too. Control via HomeKit works well. In the same way as other devices you can only perform basic operations in the Apple Home app, you need to install the manufacturer’s ‘Sleekpoint’ app. Thread works well and is responsive. I was actually using this unit in our new house when we moved in before we had our WiFi set up, thread is very handy! The Sleekpoint app looks basic but is fairly new I guess. There haven’t been any updates in the 1.5 months or so since I bought the unit which is a shame but hopefully there will be soon. There are some things that would make this unit great: - Needs dark mode - it is extremely bright at night when using the app! - In night mode you can’t adjust the fan speed at all. I would like to be able to set night mode but up the air speed a little on hot nights. You can't choose a higher speed as the display comes on which is very bright - Only allowing you to choose ‘Auto’ OR ‘Sleep’ a bit odd, you’d want it to be in auto mode AND sleep - Needs a different interface (+ and - buttons perhaps) on the fan speed page as the slider is really jerky - The air quality ring and display options need ‘off’ settings not just adaptive The price is towards the high end but I guess you are paying for the new Thread tech! The air seemed cleaner and smells were reduced when using this unit. Definitely noticeable in smaller rooms. I also used this to clear out musty smells from a cupboard. Overall I like this unit and would recommend it to others! 👍
