Remotefobcentre A31 Replacement 2 Button Flip Key Fob Case

It is clear this is not an OEM part but the quality is really good. With a bit of DIY you can use your original fob and combined with this you will have a new fob. I replaced the new blade with the original key by removing the rivet which holds the blade to the keyhole. Then simply put it back together. There is a video on YouTube instructing on how to remove the spring mechanism. The OEM keyhole will not fit this spring mechanism hence the reason why.

A perfect replacement for your old worn key fob ,the only criticism I have is the Peugeot emblem supplied could be better quality as mine started to scratch off within days but the quality of the buttons and fob make it a good buy.

Used this to replace my broken Peugeot 307 key as the spring broke and would flop around. I was able to swap the board pretty easily, just the rubber at the top where the board sits didn't line up well with the hole so had to cut it a tad and push it under the board. Didn't manage to get the key blade out so took to to my local key cutter who told me he can't cut it for me but knows how to swap the blades around so he done this for me. Happy with the result.

Old keyfob fell apart even with tape etc. This one is an exact replacement. A little tricky to remove the blank key-blade and replace with the original (you have to half open the blade and knock out the pin), otherwise I guess you could get the new blade cut somewhere. Other than that, the battery contacts needed 'bent' a little to work properly. Great job and saved £££s.

ok fob arrives within a 4/5 days, so far so good, initial impressions great! identical to existing fob, not great quality plastic but for the price i'm not complaining,(as soon as you put a coin in the slot to separate the two halves you realize just how soft the plastic is) ,but still the price is right - i'm happy so far, battery and 'green motherboard'bit fits perfect,so tapped out pin, a bit fiddly but doable, and fitted my car key,and hey presto......no presto!, would not work! only way would work was using the old button side married to new backside, which was better than my old knackered fob but not a 'wow' as far as i'm concerned, an hour of my time wasted, and I'm back to a taped up(albeit new shiny tape) old fob!

The package arrived fairly quick and in good shape. My issues with it are simple: - It didn't bring the Peugeot symbol to glue onto the key - so now I have an empty squared depression where the symbol should be (plus you can't remove the one from the original key to add here). Why isn't this clearly mentioned in the ad? Why do other vendors offer the Peugeot brand sticker and this one doesn't? - The instructions' detail to replace the key blade aren't exactly accurate. I actually had to use pliers to twist the spring in order for the key to deploy with an adequate force. - The most troubling - the battery base contact, that is used to keep the battery in place is actually too large for the battery, which caused it to disconnect from the contacts and disconnect the circuit - thanks to this I had to open and close my car with the key instead of the remote, until I figured out what was wrong and - again with pliers - was able to readjust the contact. All in all, not a very good experience.

I thought I would give this a try as my original key fob case broke into pieces. The internal parts were easy to transfer and I was able to transfer the original key shaft by following instructions on an online video. It all works well and looks as good as new.

I bought this cause I needed to swap my key blade over. This I could not do, the pin was soldered in. Everything else was great and easy, just couldn't get that pin out at all! And I didn't really want to pay Peugeot 170quid for a new one!
