I bought this drive belt to replace the original on my 10-ft high garage door opener, and it worked perfectly. The length was accurate, installation was straightforward, and the belt runs quietly — a big upgrade from the old one that had started slipping and making noise. What I really appreciate is how solid and well-made it feels. The grooves grip well, and the included connectors made the swap easy even for someone who's not a pro. If you're looking to restore smooth, quiet operation to your LiftMaster or Chamberlain opener, this belt is a great choice. Highly recommend checking your model and measurements first, but once confirmed, this is a reliable replacement that delivers.

This was the perfect fit for my 23 years old Craftsman garage door opener (model number 139.53964SRT), which was manufactured by Chamberlain. It was the right length at 237", it had the correct ends, and it came with 2 chain links, but I needed only one. It was easy to install following instructions on the Internet. This replacement belt appears to be of great quality and it was a good deal for the price. I did inspect the entire garage door opener to find out why the old belt may have failed. And I noticed that one of the four wear pads inside the inner trolley was completely worn off. I ordered a set of wear pads from the manufacturer and waited to install the new belt until I had those pads replaced. I was concerned the new belt might break without the wear pads. Better safe than sorry. Something to look for if anyone has a broken belt. My opener is back to a very smooth and quiet operation.

Very durable belt. It has a braided metal core as opposed to the original belt which was a synthetic fiber based core. If you can remove the original belt and lay it flat for a more precise measurement, that will help with getting the correct length replacement belt. Mine was a little long and I lifted the metal retaining clip and trimmed to length. It works perfect and is in the adjustable range of the spring loaded sled mounting point.

Arrived today and installed right away. It works well. Two things to keep in mind. First, you will need the hardware from the old belt. Don’t discard! Second, my belt was about 1” longer than the older one. Does not sound like much, but the fit was very tight and I had to saw off the end of the bolt. And yes… I did make sure it is designed for my model before I ordered. Last… try to find a video instruction. It will save you a lot of time.

Fit perfectly. For those whose reviews say it didn’t fit, it’s very important on these larger garage doors that you confirm your measurements before ordering. It’s very simply remove the old belt, lay it out on the garage floor and measure it. Don’t measure the hook or screw. Just to the end of the belt termination. Remember that you can adjust the belt by an inch or two. This belt was a perfect replacement for my belt. Easy to install and runs quiet.

I purchased this for my chamberlain whisper, Dr. garage door opener with a 7 foot tall garage door. My opener is model number 4185483–4B. This was an exact fit to the existing one, and it went on without too much trouble. I think what would’ve been helpful would be to know that you should have your garage door opener set to the all the way open position, then release the garage door and lower it to do the install, leaving the Little shuttle piece back close to the motor. I got a lightning deal and it was 30 some dollars. It was the cheapest option on Amazon that day. I reused the chain link and hook from the original, but it looks like what they included would’ve worked well for mine also. I would just make sure that you get the right belt number for your garage door opener model, but I don’t think there are a lot of different options to be honest. Apparently the number of teeth/inch on the belt can vary. And the belt is longer for openers designed for 8 or 10 foot garage door height. Overall, it took me maybe half an hour, but that was because of a little trial and error with the position of the shuttle piece that moves along the rail of the opener. Unfortunately, your mileage may vary when it comes to YouTube videos, and the people who author them. No documentation of any sort came with this belt, so you’ll have to gather information elsewhere on how to install.
