It works as expected
OEM replacement for lost cover. Perfect fit as expected, was slightly pricier than expected but good quality.

An affordable official Canon option
I assumed for the price I would receive a Canon-clone lens cap (it doesn't really matter for a piece of plastic) but I was pleasantly surprised when I received an official Canon lens cap with OEM packaging for £4.99. No complaints and no point buying a cheap Chinese clone when these are so cheap.

Ok cap and cheaper than other brands
Doesn't look anything special but better than generic alternatives. Bought for a Fujifilm lens as Fujifilm caps cost stupid money. I now walk about advertising Canon on my Fujifilm. There is a lesson for someone right there.

Quality & Ideal Replacement. I feel more comfortable and confident using this name brand cover, as I'm protecting an expensive lens & filter. If I had a basic entry level camera & lens, I'd feel comfortable using the much cheaper off-brand companies. But when it comes to a high end expensive lens, it's worth the extra $10-$15 for the peace of mind.

In the past, while looking at numerous small objects in a "Sale Box" in a local camera shop, I found an interesting lens cap for another lens brand (I use Canon) but it was the right size for the front of my lens. I've been using it for a number of years now and like it better than the Canon front lens caps that used to come with the Canon lenses. With the old style of Canon front lens caps, you would squeeze locations on the edge of the cap to put in on your lens. With this newer model, you can still do that OR you can squeeze a pair of ridged locations nearer the center of the lens cap, the method I prefer. I know that some of the newer Canon lenses come with the newer type caps but, for me, I found them not to be very expensive and I'm happy I bought this style for my lenses not having them. The bottom line though is what do you prefer? I'm lacking a right thumb and have nerve damage to my left one and I find it move convenient to use the newer caps.
