My Staples Rutherford chair armrest was peeling really badly. The armrest isn't really designed to put a cover like this on it. However, what I did was remove the armrests, stretch the cover over it, and screw it back down. I didn't even bother to cut holes for the screws. The material is thin enough that the screws bored their way through. Took about 15 minutes. I think it looks really good and it's never going to slip.

My kitten has developed a habit of demanding attention by putting his front paws (claws out) on the arm of my desk chair, and it is tearing up the finish. I got these to help protect the leather-ish material from that damage. These should work very well, though I wish they were a bit thicker. The material is thin like a slipcover. The covers are stretchy and will cover the arm of a desk chair as long as there is space to pull the cover down over the armrest all the way around. They won't work if the top of the arm is fused to the chair back, but even a small gap should be enough to pull the cover down so it can stay in place. Mine stay right where I put them and were super easy to put on. It also seems like you could toss them in a washing machine if needed.

These fit my office chair arms perfectly. The original fake leather material was peeling off badly, and these covers make the chair look like new again. The texture of the covers is a little rough, but I'm getting used to it.

Our padding was a bit messed up , so we cut new padding and this won't cover it completely. I like the concept; need to figure how to make it work.
