I bought this bowl separately as a replacement for my KitchenAid Artisan Series tilt-head mixer, and it has been a fantastic addition. Fit & Stability: The bowl is a perfect fit! It locks firmly into the base of the mixer, so there is zero sliding or wobbling even when the machine is running at high speeds or handling denser doughs. Durability & Use: The build quality is excellent. It feels sturdy and has proven to be quite scratch-resistant—I haven’t noticed any scuffing from the beaters or metal utensils. Capacity: The storage capacity is exactly what I needed for standard batches (fitting the 5-quart standard), making it a seamless swap for the original. Ease of Cleaning: Maintenance is a breeze. It’s very easy to clean by hand, and it handles the dishwasher perfectly without losing its finish. Verdict: If you need an extra bowl or a reliable replacement that won't budge during use, this is a winner.

The handle broke off on my original bowl after a couple of decades, and I found this one to be half the cost of the KitchenAid bowl. It is much lighter weight, but I don;t mind - it might even be an advantage. It fits perfectly into the base and locks in place. I'm happy with the purchase.

This bowl is lighter weight and thinner than the kitchen aid bowl that came with my mixer is 1985. But I use it often and it fits my stand mixer well. I wanted a bowl with a handle as my original bowl did not have one. It has come in handy for that. So I would buy again just for that feature.

This bowl is great quality of metal, looks great, is a bowl that comes up tall and prevents spray or spill out of whatever you're making, and cleans easily with some warm to hot water. The stainless steel is naturally easy to clean but like anything you let sit (if you're not washing promptly), crusty things will dry and soaking in this this bowl takes 5 minutes usually if you use really hot water. After a 5 minute soak it usually washes off clean. The color is your average shiny stainless steel metal grey. It's a great strong bowl, the only thing that was a little annoying thing is I feel like it may be a tad deeper than it needs to be. In my 5qt Kichen Aid mixer this bowl is a pain in the butt with never mixing the bottom well enough. Doesn't matter if it's bread dough, some kind of batter, pastries... it's always a little bit of the bottom that doesn't mix well. Works great just has a rather deep bottom. Great product and I wish it came with a lid (would make it legendary), but I wouldn't choose something else. It came hold BIG batches well. Just make sure to scoop and fold from the bottom with a silicone baking spatula when you're using it!

bowl worked great. fit just right and nice to have a handle on the bowl. the bowl that came with the Kitchen aid stand mixer did not have a handle. love the fact that it is also a stanless steal bowl. i hardly ever buy any kind of cookware if it is not stanless.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet but it exactly what I wanted. It's made well and I love the handle. I have an older Kitchen Aid and this will bring it up to date. It is beautiful and I checked the depth of the bowl and i believe it will work just fine. If not it will be an asset to use even without the mixer.

This bowl fits and looks like it works but creaming butter and sugar is horrendous in this bowl. If you make a lot of cookies walk away! The sides are wider so it doesn’t mix, just gets stuck to the sides. You end up sitting there scraping the sides down the entire time. Just spend the extra money and get the authentic one. Waste of money.
