I purchased this along with another silicone toe straightener so I could try both. I have to say that this Pedifix double toe straightener is brilliant. I have hammer toes and had one operated on 18 months ago, which has not been satisfactory at all and now has no strength in it which leaves my other toes to do all the work. Consequently they have been hurting so bad that I can hardly walk. When this Pedifix toe straightener came this morning I put it on after trying the other one first which was far too flexible. I have been on my feet all day (12 hours) and totally forgot I had it on. It has taken all the pain away, straightened 2 toes and is very comfortable indeed. I am so pleased that I had to write this review immediately as it is not often that I buy something that works so well. So I have just ordered another as a spare. They are elasticated as can be seen in the picture and seem to fit in my shoes with room to spare. 11/10

Good product for me
It is quite awkward to get on but that is because I have awkward toes!

DO NOT BUY!
This is an awful product, it is supposed to be a toe straightener yet you have to pull the elastic so tight to get your toe straight that it begins to stop circulation after a few minutes, after the 3rd use the thing started to fall apart. This is the 3rd product i have purchased on amazon which supposedly "straightens" toes but none of them work and this thing is the worst, do not waste £10 on this rubbish.

Good but has limited suitability
Effective if used with care. Don't use on swollen toes or broken skin. Adjustable toe straps very good; foot base not very comfortable and a bit too short at the top; could be improved.

Bad Design.
the first band is good and fits my toe well and straightens it out, but the second is too far up the pad and doesn't fit the toe where it should, forcing my second toe to bend even more. if my toes were the same length it would be fine, but as they are not, it is useless.

These work really well to help with Hammer toes and plantar plate tears. I have three plant plate tears on the 3,4 and 5 digit along with hammer toes on 4th and 5th toes. The best way to use these is in conjunction with KT pro tape. Tape the toe down that is in the hammer position and then put this splint on. Watch a you tube on how to tape the toe down properly. The two combined straightened my hammer toe out and relieved pressure on my plantar plate tear. I also stuck on a metatarsal cookie to the splint which helps offload pressure off the metatarsal capsules. Proper placement of the cookie is very important. Remove the splint at night but leave the KT tape on.Wear these in a wide toe box shoe like Altra's Lone Peak or New Balance. Its important to wear a zero drop shoe with a stiff sole to allow the plantar plate to heal.Heels and narrow toed shoes are the worst thing you can wear. Make sure you wear a shoe size large enough for your foot and that your foot is not cramped. You should be able to wiggle your toes in the shoe. I order an entire shoe size larger than what I normally wear and then use heal pads to keep the shoe from slipping.

Does what it is supposed to do. Just have to remember not to leave it on for very long at one time and don't wear it to bed. Great for the price
