I'm very pleased with this mat. I was a little apprehensive to get a mat that was flexible, as I wanted a pretty solid surface to write on. Though I still wouldn't write on a single piece of paper with a pointy pen, it offers an almost solid surface. The plastic/rubber like material has excellent clarity and didn't take much to smooth out. A day or two with some heavy books on the corners did the trick. I think I am most impressed with the thickness and clarity. It's so nice having my notes underneath as reminders without having them right on my working space. I would absolutely buy again.

I have bought a few other colored desk mat trying to match my desk, none of them turn out right. Finally decided on this clear desk mat, it works perfectly the way I wanted. This mat is a good size, covering my workspace with my keyboard, mouse, writing space, and some wiggle room to spare. The material is thick and feels durable, it lays flat almost immediately and doesn’t curl on corners. The surface is smooth and has enough grip for things not to slide around. The backing is also nonslip, helps to keep it in place. I just love the clear mat allows my desk to show through, instead of covering it up.

Excellent product I would not hesitate to recommend, instructions said could be more than 24 hrs before flat but having put heavy objects on straight away it was flat within 3 but I did leave it overnight and all good.
