Curl Defining Cream

This smells so good! The scent is tropical, but in an elevated way and not synthetic. I am on a journey to repair my curls and blindly trying new products is always hit or miss, to which I can confidently say Rizo’s Curls Curl Defining cream is a HIT on my 3a/3b hair. Leaves hair feeling silky, without weighing it down. My curls are looking the healthiest they have been in months!

Great product for my daughter’s curls. This does not weigh hair down at all. Note, it has a pretty strong scent that leans almost cologne-like.

Incredible stuff. Really gets my curls to get that spiral look. For the most part my hair stays soft instead of crunch and the smell is wonderful.

Good product but does have a smell of coconut which I don't tolerate well hence the 4 stars. The smell may be a deal breaker. As for how it works on my curly frizzy hair - works very well! I have soft defined curls/ringlets with just a wee bit of frizz in the humidity. I appreciate the fact that it is a more natural product containing none of the horrible chemicals other products contain. My scalp does not itch at all so that's a plus. I do recommend thr product if you can get last the coconut smell.

Let’s be honest. I only bought this because the queen herself, Chappel Roan, uses this. Honestly though, this stepped up my hair care game. My curls have never been more defined. I have tried black hair care as a white woman because I know they have better products than us but I had never heard of this brand. I am so happy I tried it!

I bought this order yesterday it arrived this afternoon the package arrived for sure, this is the best cream I have tried this year, the smell is exquisite GOD I LOVE IT the hydration it left to my hair was incredible I thought it was not going to hydrate me much since I have been using different creams for several weeks and none of them moisturized it and this one surprised me I thought it was only going to give me a good definition 🙂‍↕️😏 not only good definition it gave me but an INCREDIBLE DEFINITION,honestly it became my favorite hair cream 1000000/10 I would buy it again and again😌

This product works great

I bought this because of the great reviews from curly-haired people. Many said the smell is divine. Smell is subjective and very personal. While I'm pretty sure they use high-quality scent, to my nose, it smells disgusting-like the cheapest of the cheapest of lavender cologne and they put so much of the revolting scent in there that it is SERIOUSLY IN YOUR FACE, figurative and literally (think: somebody wearing way too much perfume or cologne enters a crowded elevator-it sucks all the air out of the elevator and everybody but the scent-offender is gasping for breath). When I first bought it, my hair was long, curly and thick and that is when my opinion formed and it was almost a deal-breaker, despite the wonders it does for my curls. Then I unexpectedly got my hair cut very short, but I can still smell it, slightly less so after it dries. Yesterday, about 6 hours after I put it in my hair, my neighbor (who apparently likes the smell of lavender) asked me if I was wearing a new perfume. I replied that the odor was from my curl cream. I researched online to see what kinds of essential oils were compatible with lavender so I could add to this product to tone down the odor. The results were orange or bergamot. I had orange, so this morning, laboriously dumped the cream out of the bottle, added 20 drops of orange essential oil, then laboriously funneled it back into the bottle. After using it the next morning, the smell was marginally improved. Because the scent is so incredibly strong, in this day and age with all the allergies that people have, I am astonished that there is not a scent free version. I am going to contact the manufacturer to see if they make one. To end on a positive note, it is fantastic on my curls. I do encourage you to try it, but know that you are going to reek.
