Good quality headphones
These are very nice looking headphones which I'm hoping to use for my regular flights to Romania. Whilst still in the budget range of headphones I'd say they were the higher end of the budgets. They are certainly nowhere near the price of the 200 pounds 'beats' they are advertising at the moment. They look like an expensive headphone with with the metallic looking bin brackets (they are in fact plastic). The extention slides are a mixture of plastic and metal and are marked so you can adjust the headphones to your preference (once you've worked out what it is) before you even put them on. My ideal setting is 10.5 per side.Supplied with them is a semi hard case which will fit the headphones along with the various leads you might need. The case is not particularly small though so will take room in your luggage/cabin baggage if travelling. You could always lay them around your neck. Also the case being on the large side could give a side benefit of having room to store your MP3 player etc.The headphones are light and extremely comfortable and because the ear bins enclose your ears you have a high degree of noise reduction before you even switch the ANC on. I've worn these for several hours at a time and not gotten uncomfortable with them and to this end they are the best ones I've had.The headphones are not packed with the features you can get on some headphones. No TF card slot for instance or radio. The controls consist of power button/MFB, volume buttons which double as track skip and the ANC button which has an LED light to show when activated. It does have an AUX in port though so you can listen to non Bluetooth devices such as MP3 players. They come supplied with a charge cable and 3.5mm AUX cable which are both quite basic and I use braided ones in lieu of these. The volume buttons only work when attached to a Bluetooth device as does the MFB. It would have been nice to be able to mute the sound via the MFB when connected via the aux port.Sound wise they are very nice. Good rounded sounds, no hissy highs and a reasonable bass presence. I'm really enjoying listening with these and hear some nuances you often miss with speaker based sound (you always seem to notice music more through headphones).Their weakest point is volume. Even at full volume the level never more than the top end of comfortable. That's not to say it's not adequate and as long as the ANC does it's job on the plane then I'll be more than happy. After a long listening session then my ears do ring ever so slightly so it's probably a good thing it's not any louder but it just feels like it could have done a little bit more.In rudimentary tests the ANC did a reasonable but not perfect job in traffic but reduces the volume of the music slightly when you switch it on for some strange reason. The acid test will be in a week or so's time on the plane... I'll update here.I've never tried 'beats' but they would have to be a WHOLE lot better than these to tempt me to spend that kind of money on them.Update 03/02/2018: I took them on a flight to Romania and they worked brilliantly. I used them to watch a movie and the noise reduction feature was very effective. However due to the size of the case they are a little bulky to carry on board, particularly when you are trying to battle to get your case into the overhead locker. For this reason only I probably won't take them on future flights. If it was a longer flight it would probably be worth it but for 2 1/2 hours I'll use earphones. I do however use them almost every night for watching movies in bed and found they are superbly comfortable. A very worthwhile purchase.

When sound quality isn't paramount, they're hard to beat
Bluetooth Headphones in the sub £50 range are always a bit of a gamble; you know you'll be losing out one of the value spaces, but which will it be.Fortunately, with the E7s, the cost savings seem to have been handled brilliantly, so those worries can be put to bed!Design: They look smart, and have decent quality plastics. The metallic look bars connecting the headphones may end up being a weak point in the future, but they certainly feel solid for now and seem like the right compromise. It would be great if the headphones could fold a little smaller, but at least they come with a handy case!Comfort: Honestly one of the most comfortable headphones I've ever owned! I have larger ears that normally get crushed against the driver, but the pads are large, deep, and comfortable, so I'm safe here. The Headband is also very comfortable, and besides getting a little warm, there is no discomfort even after several hours of wear.Sound Quality: The sound quality is overly bassy if you have ANC off, and the soundstage a little muted. Pop on ANC though and the range opens up and becomes a little closer to my Shure reference headphones. I'm not expecting the world at this price, but I was pleasantly surprised what a £30-40 pair of headphones could produce, versus some of the terrible £20-30 options out there. if you're listening in a noisy office or on a plane or train, you'll definitely not fault the quality, but definitely dont purchase these headphones if you're planning to have the best quality in a quiet living room.Features: Decent battery life, nice big buttons for controls, APTX, ANC that does the job pretty well in most environments. Again, don't expect the world, but they certainly hold their ground for a headphone that costs a tenth of the noice cancelling headphones many of my colleagues are wearing. And if you need any better a review, a colleague liked them so much that they bought them a week after I got mine!
