Hyperice Normatec 3 - Recovery System with Patented Dynamic Compression Massage Technology (Normatec 3 Full Body (Standard Legs + Hips + Arms)

This set has been life changing! I’m a 52yo athletic woman and was in a head-on collision car accident last Aug and already had bum knees (acl replacement and other torn ligaments in both knees). I was blessed to walk away from the accident but my wrist and arm were still sore in addition to my hips and lower back. I didn’t feel like working out for months aside from having a terrific home gym. I went to the chiropractor for a couple months and they had compression boots. I never got to try them though because I always had on flip flops and he required you wear socks. Now that this entire kit is in my home, my husband and I have now returned to our high intensity workouts because we have this little gem to assist with recovery. I thought my husband would give me the old side-eye for making this purchase, but surprisingly, he uses it religiously. He actually wakes up early enough to not only work out before work, but to also get a 30min compression session in. Overall, I feel like I have my body back, and having the app also makes choosing a setting easy…but even if you don’t use the app it’s super easy to use. I looked more deeply into compressing therapy and actually looking forward to trying it on my mom who’s partially paralyzed from a stroke on one side (15yrs ago). She’s also excited to try it when she comes to visit. If your biggest concern with purchasing is more so related to efficacy over cost, I can confirm this is a wonderful gift to yourself…your body will thank you! I use them for swollen legs due to artery insufficiency. It works great. Likewise it’s good for avoiding soreness after exercise. They are well made and worth the money.

I use the Normatec 3 primarily for recovery after hard training sessions and long workdays where my legs and hips take the most strain. The recovery benefits are noticeable. It does a great job reducing soreness and helping my legs feel refreshed faster, especially after intense workouts or long periods on my feet. The compression cycles feel consistent and well-controlled, and the system is easy to operate once set up. The main downside is size. The full-body setup is bulky and takes up some space, which can make storage and portability less convenient. That said, this is expected with a full-leg, hip, and arm system. Compared to basic compression sleeves or handheld recovery tools, this provides a much deeper and more consistent recovery experience. It feels closer to what you’d expect from professional athletic recovery equipment. If you train hard, work long hours on your feet, or prioritize recovery, this system is very effective. It may not be ideal for someone with limited space or who wants something ultra-portable, but for performance and recovery, it delivers.

The unit worked fine for 2 months then wouldn't power on. The screen displayed a fail message. Tracking Hyperice down, setting up a return and getting a replacement has been a nightmare. You can't call them anywhere. I sent an email and 5 days later got a response. Another 5 days later I got a label to return the product. Sent it in 10 days ago and have heard nothing back. I call the only number I can find and it only says they're in a meeting. Just unbelievably poor customer service for a premium product. So disappointed.

I use 5 to 6 times per week while watching TV or reading a book. They are comfortable to wear.

The device is amazing BUT the standard size leg sleeve is too big for me despite the description saying it would easily fit a person of my height and I am 5’7”. My parter is 6’ and these are slightly too long for him as well. What happened when they are too long is 1.) cramps /pinches the foot and 2.) it squeezes right up in the private area. Great device but the sleeves are too long.

The Normatec 3 device was requested after extensive research for the best device, and the experience was great from the very first time. However, there was a problem with the size that came with it. It was relatively large and caused some discomfort in the foot due to a mismatch between the foot position and the inflation area. Therefore, when considering purchasing one, you should make sure to measure the length of your legs and choose the appropriate size to enjoy a perfect experience without any discomfort.

Absolutely fantastic product and amazing customer support. Couldn’t be happier and I highly recommend this product and company to everyone else. Can’t wait until they release more stuff in the future !!
