I was a little weary at first, because I read reviews about people not being able to connect the controller. When I got the system, everything plugged in just fine and I got it up and running within five minutes. This is a retro gamers dream. So many good games on here if you love old 80s and 90s arcade games, it’s going to take me forever to play all the stuff I want to play! highly recommend

What waste of time and money. I took to long to install the game system and my return option expired. The controllers NEVER came on or synced! I bought new batteries and nothing ever came on,! So I have no idea if it works or has the games it claims it has. Very, very disappointed!

I got it for my kids. They just love it. So many classic games in one console.

The best thing about this set are the controllers. They feel like a decent $15 controller and work on pc no problem. The OS is basic and works. The games are the problem. Yes I knew what I was in for. Unlicensed games and a ton of Japanese versions. That's fine because I was hoping to be able to install my own collection of ROMs but I was unable to do so. Even if you put ROMs on the SD card there isn't a way to refresh the OS's playlist to show the games. Yes there are a ton of games pre-installed but there are thousands of duplicates, unlicensed BS, and just junk games you have never heard of to fill a quota of 20000+. The duplicates are comical with the same game being represented in 5 or 6 different versions/languages/"debugged" or whatever. I have bought devices like this before and I would avoid this one.

Cant figure out how to make the controller operate the system. No instructions. Held power button down. Controller flashes red 10 times and stops. Then nothing happens. Any suggestions tried youtub nothing

Installation and setup were easy. The menu system goes on for eternity but also continuously starts over to give the impression of an infinite number of games even though many are the same. All the games I have started booted fine but as other reviews suggest the gameplay is limited either by malfunctioning controls or perhaps simply very poor wireless range issues. I have purchased a longer male-to-female HDMI cable hoping that it is simply a poor range issue and I can bring the unit closer to my seated position during play without going blind for sitting directly in front of my television. I didn't have high expectations for the cost but if the issues I have experienced are not resolved by a longer cable then the system is not enjoyably playable as the controllers randomly respond as they desire.
