Best timer tool for child/adolescent therapists and everyone!
I absolutely love this timer! I’m a therapist, and it’s been very helpful in keeping track of time during session as well as giving the kids an idea of how much time we have/is left. I found that it helps foster security in our session as well as help teach time management to my clients. I find that this can be especially helpful for helping clients (and yourself) see how long is left in the session — I found this timer’s design work well even for those who struggle with time! There’s also an option to turn on the sound of disable it; I normally disable it as it’s very loud. The engaging colors in the rainbow is also very happy and playful, which I find to help foster safety for the kiddos and also grabs their attention more easily. I love the aesthetic myself, and I even personally use this when I’m running presentations and need to keep an eye on time! If you’re thinking of getting it, don’t hesitate- it’ll be 100% worth it! : )

Perfect visual timer for home or classroom use
I have two children who have difficulty with transitions and also work with students. This visual timer is small enough to fit wherever you need it but large enough to see and notice the image getting smaller as the timer runs. The timing is accurate, the design is cute, and it appears to be good quality. The sound is a little louder than I’d like but it seems to be the same volume as similar products. Great quality overall, highly recommend!

Great time management tool
Love this. Great for managing my time. You can hear it from another room, so if you get out for a timed break you’re easily reminded to come back.

Visual timer useful for kids but runs slow
I ordered this for my kids to do certain tasks. It is nice that they can see the timer instead of saying “5 minutes.” I found we use it a lot for brushing teeth. It is easy to use for the kids and the graphic on the inside is very cute. It is pretty loud when it goes off, but that doesn’t seem to bother us. It is durable, as the kids have thrown it around a bit and it has dropped. One thing I have noticed from the beginning, is that the time is slow by quite a bit. I don’t notice it in a 5 minute timer as much, but if you are using it for 30-60 minutes, don’t count on it to be accurate. It functions well and works with ease.

A joy to use ... mostly
I absolutely love this timer. I'm autistic with ADHD and time blindness, and I use it for all sorts of reasons, including reminding me to take work breaks and ensuring those breaks don't stretch too long. The ease of use, reliability, and cute factors make it a joy to use. I only have two notes for people with sensory issues (like me). First, while it doesn't tick loudly, it does audibly tick. It ticks softly, like a large watch maybe, but it definitely ticks. You should know that if that sort of thing bothers you. Second, the alarm is quite ear-piercing. I need the alarm because I get lost in my work and don't notice when time is up without an audible signal, but I wish I could leave it set to "Mute" because the alarm is an extremely unpleasant noise. Check some of the review videos to hear it. I wish it had a more pleasant alarm, but for what it is and the cost, I still love it and give it 5 stars because it's the only timer I've had that I use consistently, and the cute factor makes me happy.

Great for Toddlers at Home
I used this timer with my toddlers to assist with dressing. It was motivating to ‘beat’ the timer and they can visually see how much time is left. They bought in right away because of the rainbow design and began asking to use the timer for other activities as well.

Awesome!
First 6 seconds of my video are what it looks like normally, after 6 seconds thats what it looks like sped up. I’ve been doing bed time count downs with my son since he was born, just to normalize it. Now that he’s 3 I figured I could give him a visual for the countdown. This little clock is perfect for that and does the trick. It fits great in my hand and is lightweight, so it’s nice to hang on to when you need to keep it away from curious toddler hands. It does the job and is pretty straight forward in terms of making it work. Plug the batteries in Select the volume options you want with easy to use bottons in the battery compartment on the back of the clock. Close up the battery compartment. Turn the dial on the front to the amount of minutes you want to display to begin the countdown. That’s it! It makes no noticeable noise while the countdown is happening, unless you listen really closely by putting it up to your ear. You’ll hear the very subtle ticking. The sound it makes when the timer completes is noticeable and beeps around 5 times. It’s perfect for giving a visual aid to the “x more minutes until bed time”! Great buy! Simple, perfect, easy to use and very cute!

This visual timer is extremely practical, especially when used with children. What I like: Very easy to use: just turn the knob, no batteries required The visual countdown helps kids clearly understand how much time is left Silent operation (no loud ticking), which is great for focus and calm activities Compact size, easy to place on a desk, shelf, or table Cute and child-friendly design that immediately catches attention Real-life use: I use it daily with my son for homework time, screen time limits, and getting ready routines. It helps avoid arguments because the time is visible and concrete for him. When the time is over, he understands it much better than with a phone or digital timer. Things to note: No alarm sound, so it’s mainly visual (which is actually a plus for us) Best suited for short tasks up to 60 minutes Highly recommended for parents, teachers, or anyone looking to help kids manage time in a calm and visual way. Simple, effective, and kid-approved

We have a toddler that is very strong willed. He contests bedtime and other timings. This works well as a visual aid to show him how long 5 minutes is. He likes to see the boat disappearing.

J'ai acheté ce minuteur pour aider mon enfant à accomplir des tâches dans un temps imparti, il sert aussi pour les devoirs, et pour limiter le temps d'écran. Il est très bien, ne fait pas de bruit et sonne comme un réveil analogique.

Bought this to help my 3 year old know when it is time to finish playing toys and get ready for the day. It has been brilliant. He really enjoys knowing that when the beep goes off he has to go clean his teeth and get dressed. We're having fun talking about time with him and letting him put the timer on. It does exactly as we want to it to do. It's nice and small so easy to take away and looks cute too.

Have been using this with children I work with and have found it really helpful for their understanding of time management as they are at ages where they are unable to read a clock/telling them 5/10 minutes doesn't make sense as they don't understand how long that is. They're able to visualise with the timer how long they have left on something and have found there have been very few issues, if none, when the timer goes off and they have to finish what they're doing. Several of the children I use this with struggle with loud noises - I find it great that this timer has the option to turn the alarm off/turn the volume down. Even with these options, the children haven't struggled with the timer being on its loudest setting either as it's not that loud anyway. Would highly recommend to anyone who works with/has children especially if they are SEN and/or normal timers/ways of doing time management don't work.
