I am liking these Bento boxes. Purchased them so we can pack our lunches when we are out and about. They fit into our collapsible cooler perfectly and hold plenty of food for a single person. Actually, most times the hubby and I eat out of a single one. They come with a nice set of utensils that work fine. They are fairly sturdy, not flimsy like picnic flatware. There is a compartment in the lid where they live away from the food. The "dressing" container is a bit small, holds maybe 2 tablespoons. But it's enough for dipping your veggies I think or dressing for a small salad. The compartment are solid, not removable but the lid is completely removable so makes washing up very easy. Each compartment holds a full cup so you can put plenty of goodies in each section. The long section will hold a 6" hoagy roll without issue. I cut our sandwiches made on regular shaped bread in half and they fit just fine. I like the fact the lid comes completely off so you box doesn't tilt or tip over while trying to eat from it. The lids snaps into place with holders on all four sides and so far I have not had a leak from them. I have not packed hot food in them so I can't answer how they retain temperature but they stay cool enough in our cooler bag with a frozen 1 liter bottle of ice in it. I've packed delicate veggies like thinly sliced cucumber and they were fine after 7 hours in the Bento box in the cooler. Everything was quite cool.

Love these bento boxes, five of us packed some for our flight to Hawaii had our food with us. It stayed cool fresh we used it in Hawaii for a week while we traveled around the island. Sturdy easy to close and open great quality great price. I bought three of them highly recommend them.

I bought this Shell and Turtle bento box earlier this month to pack balanced lunches, and it’s been super convenient. The compartments are well-sized, and I like that it comes with extra silicone muffin liners and a small sauce jar. Pros: • Four compartments make it easy to separate proteins, snacks, and fruit. • Sturdy build and leak-resistant seal — no spills in my bag so far. • Microwave- and dishwasher-safe, which makes cleanup simple. • Comes with utensils, so it’s easy to take on the go. • Generous capacity (40 oz) but still compact enough to carry. Cons: • The included fork/knife/spoon are a little lightweight — fine for light meals, but not the strongest for tougher foods. • The lid clips are tight, which is great for sealing, but younger kids may need help opening it. Extra Notes: I’ve been using it for work lunches, and it easily fits sandwiches, salads, or leftovers. The silicone cups are handy for snacks like nuts or berries. This box size is pretty well suited for my needs, however, it leaks. I try to travel lightly with everything being placed into just my large capacity backpack, but unfortunately I now have pickle juice stains in the bottom from the gasket not sealing fully to make it leakproof. Capacity wise it’s ok. But I would look to purchase something bigger with better leakproof properties. The small sauce cups take up valuable space if you’re using them and those too do not seal well. Gave it 3 stars because it does have a solid build, doesn’t feel cheap or emit any plastic odors that would permeate into your food. Relatively versatile with its dimensions to capacity ratio. No ugly discolorations after multiple uses. Doesn’t absorb the odors from your food (even the dreaded pickle juice aforementioned). Hasn’t deformed from use (but I’ve only used it for cold storage, haven’t used it for reheating due to the leaking issue).

More then 5 stars if I could!! I love this for making my 5 year Olds school's lunches! It's perfect, perfect portions, some much room for lots of different foods for my picky eater! Love the little extras it comes with as well. I am ordering another!! It's also easy for him to open and close! It's cute too!
