Works exactly as planned. It is compact and easy to install. As other reviewers have mentioned the solar panel MUST be in direct sunlight to work at the best speed. It is powerful for its size. For my greenhouse I wanted something that would move air and this does the trick. If you are looking for something that has a battery backup then this is NOT the right device for you. If you are in a sunny area and need to cool off a space or keep circulation of the air during the day then this is the soar fan for you. Great value for the price.

I purchased this fan to install in my chicken coop to boost airflow. I didn’t realize that the fan only operates during daylight hours and if it’s an overcast day, the fan speed is VERY slow. It will not operate at all on cloudy days. It is not designed to store energy and can only consume the solar energy that is produced at the moment. It’s a useless addition to my coop and a waste of money.

I bought this for my chicken coop which is partially in the shade. I don't like that you actually have to turn the switch on, but that's on me should had spend attention. Both fans work great if there is FULL SUN, in the moment there is the smallest amount of shade the fans slow way down and sometimes only one will slightly run while the second one stopped and is just humming. I made the mistake and bought two and did not install them right away, so I missed the return for refund deadline. pretty disappointed.

We love the solar fan , it works great in our green house... We are considering buying another one for the other side of the greenhouse and shed we have for better air circulation. Much to our disappointment 1 of the fans quit working. We would expect this fan to work a little longer than 2 months. very dissapointed.

As other reviewers have pointed out, there is no battery at all, nor is there any standardized connectors so that one could be added. The fans require solid, direct sunlight to start up. Until they get that, they squeal and whine without moving, a high-pitched noise that bothers my dog (other dogs may not care). We wanted to use it in an attic, but it was audible and annoying even through insulation & drywall. I'm hesitant to even recommend it in a chicken coop. Even a simple photosensor or small 12v battery would solve these problems, but right now it's just badly designed.

Bought 2, Push and Pull fans for my shed. Works Great on Sunny Clear Day. Clear Sky ONLY. NOT Dawn, Dust, or Overcast. When on its On with good air flow. Quality for the Price! Can be noisy in low light but it is far from annoying, and easily ignored. Good Size Panel but Not too Big and the fans move enough air my 10x16 does not get stale. I will buy again, so much so I'm buying a 3rd and a battery trickler charger from them!
