Bought because recommended to me by the nurse in the hospital. Very good and help healing process. Do not buy see GP and get it on prescription. Brought item not knowing that you can get it on prescription from GP.

Used this product for some time. It's the only one that seems to help chronic wounds to heal, and reduce infection. No stinging or burning sensations when applied.

The healing power of this polymer is only moderate, so that to describe it as 'antibacterial', as some health professionals do, is stretching things a bit. It needs a dressing on top, because it is runny, but even Mepore dressings over it seem to slow up the healing process. However it does have some healing effect, so it is worth persevering with.
