Review: it’s been a fantastic resource - I’ve been using Piano Lessons Book Two (Piano Solo): 2, and it’s been a fantastic resource for my piano learning journey. The book is very clear and well-organized, with each lesson building naturally on the last, making it easy to follow even if you’re learning on your own. I really appreciate the variety of musical styles and moods included, which keeps practice interesting and helps develop a well-rounded skill set. The pieces are fun to play and the melodies are memorable, which motivates me to practice more regularly. I also like that the book introduces new concepts at a realistic pace, so I never feel overwhelmed but still feel challenged to improve. Overall, this book has made learning piano enjoyable and rewarding, and I’d definitely recommend it to other beginners or anyone looking to strengthen their foundational skills Review: The follow up to BK 1 in the piano lessons trilogy. A good step up and equally good as BK 1 - Ok so lets see...either go through 10 pupils and gradually experiment with how to teach, or start on the right foot with this excellent teaching resource for piano teachers, parents and perhaps music teachers as well. This is aimed at younger starters but will work equally well with any age group as long as they are willing. It could also be part of a self teaching resource for adult starters. While there are many good teachers and methods out there, this has to be one of the best. Nothing fancy, nothing outlandish, just good, useful common sense approach to helping youngsters pick up the piano. There is a recognition that no one is immune to boredom so there is plenty to keep youngsters happy like duets and other fun exercises All in all a good product. The second in the series and therefore a step foreword from the previous book

Extremely helpful book for learning the piano
My piano tutor recommended I get this book for my studies. I would say that this is roughly at the grade 2-3 level and is a good starting point for beginning grade 4. It has an index of various scales (majors, minors) at the back of the book which I find extremely helpful; each of which has several exercises to strengthen fingers and maintain correct fingering and technique. Adding on, it has many classical pieces which would be lovely to add to your repertoire; for example, Prelude in C, Bach, which is quite easy to learn but sounds very impressive to others! The style of teaching found in this book is amazing. Going bit by bit over each section, in a fun, intuitive, and interactive way makes it an entertaining experience to learn the piano and keep going further. Overall, it is an amazing book with which I have had no problem.

Great book in a great series
A fantastic book for anyone learning the piano. Easy to follow music and suitable for all grades. Beginners may find some of the music a little difficult to follow but persevere and it will be worth it. The higher grades of student will find the music easy, but very enjoyable. A great book from a great author and seller.

A great series!
I can't add to my previous review about Book 3. I use Book1 as well as I can find nothing to beat this series. I find each book moves quite fast and so for slower pupils I use another book in conjunction with the series, sometimes buying second hand copies to lend out. There is another piano primer for the younger child, and I've used that as well.

Suitable for grade 3 students
As a piano teacher, I believe that this book would be suitable for someone who has got grade 3-type pieces under their belt. It is therefore a bit of a misnomer to call it book 2. The content is varied between technical exercises, explanation of theory points and pieces. However it was far too hard for this particular adult student and I went back to trusted Micahel Aaron 2 (the general book, not the one for adults) instead.

The wrong book was sent but so far I have had no satisfaction with receiving the correct book. I'm sure this book will be fine but so far I haven't seen it. I have bought from the Book Depository for years so am very disappointed that they are refusing to exchange for the correct book. The saga continues!
